I so want an Ifrit boon, ever since my Undead Lord is no longer playable and had to convert it to something else, i've been looking for something new to roleplay. Then i came along the Wishcrafter, but sadly I don't have the boon or even the oppurtunity to get one. I have no boons too trade, but this march is a convention in iowa so i MIGHT get one there, though i'm not sure what types of boons will be provided.
Guess this post comes down to hat off head, tin cup in hand "Please sir, may I have a boon sir?"
lol joking aside, where could i find one of these mythical Ifrit boons?

WANT:
DHampir. Totally gonna make a paladin.
It would be a difficulty. The idea I've had to avoid this I've thought of is using Oath of Vengeance to trade them away for smite evils. If I stay with the +dex/+con I'd definitely make it a Divine Hunter. If I made it a Moroi-Born, I'd have to be very careful with a penalty to con, no self-healing, and being a front-liner.
EDIT: Of course, I might just make it an inquisitor instead.

I did not know that. That makes me very, very sad. And fetchlings are so cool, too.
I have to admit being a bit grumpy that you have to attend conventions to make all the races available. I know they want to motivate people to attend conventions, but still.

Want: Oread, Goblin. Would love to have just 1 or 2 Goblin. My Daughter played WE be Goblins and was actually involved in the entire game. She is only 7, but is showing promise. As far as Oreads, Would love to get 4, and make it a Family of them adventuring.
Have Extra Trait, Expedition Manager, and a handful of others, such as 2 Lost Mentor. Am sure I will get more in future, and would be willing to trade a future race or boon as well.

Well it never hurts to try. Just in case there is a Goblin out there unused. Or 2. But actually I would be fine playing another race that is protective of the little Goblin I adopted type thing. Heck I could see her taking the Adopted Trait. LOL
Here is a more complete list of what we have to trade.
Expedition Manager
Missing Mentor (2)
Shoanti Quah-Friend (2)
Extra Trait
Cinderlands Survivor
If we get more, we would be willing to trade them. We have a Kitsune, but its being used so can not trade it away.
Looking for a Goblin and Oreads.

Last game of the con last weekend, some people at the table were given the Momentary Savant boon. - Use once, instant succeed on any skill check. Two didn't even make it through the session. One got used on a faction skill check, and another got used so a character could become an official member of the lizardman tribe. (Diplomacy check).
I got my Nagaji/other-stuff boon! And now I have plans for 2, maybe 3 Nagajis. (One is Vastra from Dr. Who, second specialized in constrict, third is just big and throws people around the room with awesome blow)
Still want a Sylph. No clue what I'd do with it, but I like them.
The extra trait boon looked cool too.
Sadly, I have no boons I'm willing to trade.

Oooh, I'm envious. Those are probably the best boons. They don't say "assume a roll of 20;" they say "guaranteed success." Make up a skill check with a DC of 50 or 70. Automatic success. Running high jump to the top of the bailey wall. Acrobatic check to get behind the huge black dragon. UMD to activate the evil artifact. Knowledge (local) to know the nicknames the bad guy suffered through when he was a first-year at the Academe.
Automatic success.

Are we allowed to buy them? And how does this work, do people mail the chronicle sheets with the boons on them to each other? Because...
Have: Money
Want: Undine
Just traded my Wayang for a Kitsune, just recently, we mailed them to each other. as far as Paying for them goes. All i know is that there was a Auction for a boon a lil while back and Michael Brock commented on the subject.
Take that as you will. I take it as don't, but odds are though after some cons people have Boons out the wazoo and will practically give them away. Its all about timing my friend. as you can see in this thread someone just got what they wanted without trading a thing except gratitude.1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 161d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 <just testing hahaha.
Edit: cool it worked. not as clean as i thought it turn out to be, but fair.

Selling boons is officially frowned on and generally is frankly unnecessary given the generosity of the community in helping the uneven distribution of boons. There is no actual way or need really to stop people from trying to do it though if you are desperate.
I also think that the elemental races have not been given out in a while so there are really none of them floating around. Hopefully that will change soon since I am looking for an undine as well.

One of the possible GM boons for GenCon is an elemental race boon. I might be using mine for an ifrit.

That's good that the elemental races will be back in circulation I guess. I'd be more exited if I were not literally halfway around the world from GenCon.
Do you know if this will stay the standard DM boon for the forseeable future, replacing the Kitsune/Nagaji/Wayang?

I don't know if it will be the standard boon, but seeing as the most basic boon you can get for GMing is the 4 elemental races, I'm going to guess that it is the case.
