The Druid's Many Abilities...

Advice

I have been looking into making a new character(for fun maybe to use later if I die). I want her to be a druid. Can this all work:

An Animal Lord, Nature Warden, Pack Lord!

To do the Nature Warden part I need to be lv 6. I heard from my DM that I can use both an archetype and a prestige class. I saw Animal Lord in the Bestiary as a ranger, can it even be a druid? Is it even a race or class? As for the Pack Lord I understand how to divide the levels I earn to all my companions(I was thinking because the minimum of Nature Warden is lv 6 it can be something that turns large at 4th level[most do that at 7th], I found a giant chameleon. And then something small that will lv up at 7th because we will go over lv 12 in this campaign). If I do do the Animal Lord, which animal should I pick, I like the canines for the actual shapeshift but I also like the bonus from the dinosaurs. How would I even turn into a Trex if all these creatures are about medium size? Can I turn into all the creatures under their species(ex:Canine-Dog/hyena/wolf) or just one I have to pick? If there is a species type and I can think of another one in that type, can I change into it or it's the Dm's call? Thanks for all the help, this is just really awesome:)

Going back to basics, what do you want this character to feel like? How do you want to play this character? What abilities do you want to use?

Ranger archetypes only replace abilities for the Ranger class.

You'd need to find a Druid equivalent, or homebrew one with your DM. But you can't just apply a Ranger archetype to a Druid.

More specifically, the Nature Warden requires "favored terrain class feature", which the druid does not have, except for one archetype: World Walker. Fortunately, this does not conflict with Pack Lord, so you can have both archetypes.

But my original questions stand.

I figured out what to do now. I still want to play a nature warden animal lord, but I can't play a druid. I'll play a ranger with something exactly like pack lord: beast master archetype. It has the exact same things(I can divide up levels to more than 1 animal companion). But my questions still stand:Is animal lord a race, because the bestiary one is already made a ranger, but it also says I can make one. My other question was can I choose anything from that idea of species or does it have to be listed(Ex:Dinosaur Lord it says velociraptor(other name though) and Trex). Can I play a dinosaur smaller than a Trex because it's gargantuan. Do I play a animal companion version, a large or medium sized? Thanks for all the help and if you want to give me an idea of which Animal Lord species is coolest just let me know:)

As for the Animal Lord question: The Animal Lord template can be added to any character with 10 or more HD.

But it's very much up to your GM if he wants to let you have a Bestiary template.
