Point Blank in melee question

A character is using a halfling slingstaff with weapon focus and point blank. Now you can use the slingstaff in melee as a light club and weapon focus applies to that, but does point blank?

I somehow don´t believe it, but Herolab somehow shows it.
It clearly incorporates the +1 to hit and damage in the use of a club, even under the melee section.

Is that right?

And if that is right, would the halfling slinger feat and large target also affect this? Or if you were using a sling as a flail with that feat?

Point-Blank Shot applies to ranged attacks. It doesn't apply to melee attacks, even if you use a normally-ranged weapon to attack in melee.

Yeah i thought so, else it would be totally cheesy.

Yeah herolab is making it ranged entirely and forgot the club part you may have to input club also.
