"Any vigorous activity, including fighting, immediately ends the effect, and the affected creatures must either have the spell cast on them again or sleep for the remaining hours to avoid fatigue and gain the benefits of a full night's rest."

Could cost a lot more than 15gp/day..

Become undead.

It's one quick way to never need sleep.

15 gold a day is rather spendy, unless your an adventurer, think of what that would really translate to, in terms of people who arent raiding dragon hoardes weekly.

if it's that much of a bother, buy a ring of sustenance and spend 15g a week.

In Psionics Expanded there is an alternate racial trait for Duergar (the Psionics Unleashed version) which removes the need to sleep. You still have to meditate for 4 hours to gain the benefits of sleep, but you are fully awake and aware.

Paladin 3. Pick fatigue for your mercy. As long as your Charisma is at least 10, you can lay on hands to remove fatigue once per day, obviating the need for sleep as long as you don't care about spellcasting.

Yeeeeaaaahhhh regarding that lack of need for sleep thing...

"The twins keep us on Centaurian time, standard thirty-seven hour day. Give it a few months. You'll get used to it, or you'll have a psychotic episode."

Nobody likes a bat-poop crazy spellslinger. Nobody.

If only it were as easy as you imply...

Unless you're a vampire.

technically DnD vampires dont need to "sleep" they return to the coffin to regenerate after being dropped to 0 hp, but they dont HAVE to sleep.
