A few times now I've asked the people of our community to pitch in when I've tried gathering supplies for the sci-fi club at my high school that I moderate. Each time I have, the response has been phenomenal. I'm hoping this time will be no different.
My friend K teaches middle school science. As sad a fact as this is, she hasn't been able to get much needed supplies (graduates cylinders and beakers) from the school, so she's turned to Donors Choose. At this moment she's $87 dollars away from meeting her goal. While there's months of time left for the project to be funded, she's under the gun to get it done with matching funds. As she just put up on Facebook:
"Please consider helping my students! Visit my page at DonorsChoose.org, make a tax-deductible donation of any size, and use the match code INSPIRE to double your donation. ! I only have $87 more to raise!!!"
Even if it's a buck or two, please help her out at Student Scientists Need More Lab Equipment.
