Best style for a Manuveur Master focusing on trip and disarm?

Advice

Any thoughts other than Janni style?

Scarab Sages

How about Snake Style? With Snake Sidewind you get +4 to your CMD vs Trip.
But Janni seems to be the best initial Style for a Trip/Disarm build.

Switching to Lore Warden after level 2 and using a Fauchard?

Snake Style gives you potentially a LOT of AoOs, and that translates into a LOT of trip/disarm attempts at full bonus.

No to the Fauchard. Play a Half Elf and select Kama, Double Chained as your Ancestral Weapon as a racial trait. Don't use it as a double weapon but rather 2 handed. It works at 10 feet and 5 feet and it has abilities that stop you from being disarmed.

At the same time, your Half Elf can take Skill Focus: Sense Motive for Snake Style which is possibly the best style in the game.

I've played three Maneuver Masters. Snake Style or Crane Style are the ways to go, depending on the campaign.

i would say there is wisdom in not OVER focusing on trip and disarm...
quite simply because there is a hell of alot of things that cant be tripped, and don't have weapons/stuff disarmed.

Monkey Style moves any issues with falling prone, though if you're failing the trip check by 10, you probably have no business tripping that creature anyway.

Snake Fang for the AoOs seems like the most directly synergistic, though you have to wait a while and every feat in the chain before snake fang is quite a waste of feats. Snake Style can be ok if you foolishly use it as a crutch and let your AC languish.

Shadow Lodge

"The wielder can attack as if armed with a single kama in each hand or extend the chain to make a single reach attack. By swinging the rope, the wielder can whip the kama about to disarm or trip opponents. Furthermore, if one of the weapons is dropped, the wielder can retrieve as a free action by pulling on the chain"

i would suggest that you skip the double kama, get a metior hammer if you want to have flexibility in play style. foucharde is your best bet over all.
