Rolling for HP
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Not bad at all DC, nice hit point roll.
For the times when your eidolon levels(gets better) you can take the average rounded up or you can roll for it, but whatever decision is made will have to be kept over the course of your character's life.

Down Comforter: How do you feel about the treasure split?

- Gauss

My level 2 HP roll (copy/paste from the game):

Folkvarthr (Cleric):Alright, take it easy
hitpoint roll
rolling 1d8+2
(5)+2 = 7
I am now at 21hp.

- Gauss

M Human Expert 3

Okay, thanks Watcher. Since I'm a Master Summoner, I don't level my Eidolon until level four.

Link to a Sandpoint Handout another poster made.
It is not a necessary, but it might be useful.

M Human Expert 3

And the seven way split sounds good, but I do reserve the right to refuse that at a later point if I don't like how it's being spent. I'll likely pick up Craft Wand later, which I'd like some funds to go to for party support wands.

Down Comforter, that is the purpose of the party fund split. :)

Thankfully, a person with cure light wounds can provide the spell while you provide the craft wand feat. That way we do not have to buy a wand of cure light wounds.

- Gauss

rolling for hps... I hope. I've never rolled on paizo before.
[roll]1d6+2[/roll]

Since I fail at that, here is the transcript from our actual campaign chat

Jerol (Sorcerer): rolling 1d6+2
(1)+2 = 3
fpr h[
for hp*

I also fail at that.

That is what I used too Khantin.

Hmmm, the following is a test: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

- Gauss

hmm 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 test

Hey guys had a good time on Monday but I'm going to have to bow out unfortuantely. Seems now my work/school schedule is flipping on me so it means I have to be at work earlier on Mondays and Tuesdays now.

Fortunately it is at the start of the campaign so finding a fill in will be easy for you guys.

Thanks all and good hunting!

Karmic

Sorry to see you go Karmic Knight.

- Gauss

Sorry to hear that Karmic Knight.

So that leaves us with:

Cleric (me/Folkvarthr)
Monk (Rokku/Colin)
Master Summoner (Down Comforter/Tellian)
Bard (Chewieroar/Treon)
Sorcerer Sage (Khantin/Jerol)

This is assuming that Fiddle does not show up (he did not show up to the first game).

- Gauss

M Human Expert 3

Spellcasters and a jumpy beatstick. Should be fun. At least we know where a lot of the buffs are going.

Jumpy beatstick? LOL I don't think I have ever heard of a Monk that way.

I think we will do fine against a group of creatures but against 1 BBEG we had better buff the Monk's AC as high as we can (Mage Armor and Shield of Faith). I can provide the Shield of Faith of course, the Sorcerer will need to provide the Mage Armor.

Who can do battlefield control and what spells will you have?

- Gauss

Edit: Changed the battlefield control question.

M Human Expert 3

I can lay down grease, black tentacles, etc. But I don't have many option in that regard. I'll have summons that can eventually help out with serious battlefield control starting around level five, when I can start to summon in creatures with casting.

Hmmm that should help a lot Down Comforter. Provided our characters dont kill each other. :D

- Gauss

M Human Expert 3

I think I can corrupt the tiefling, always good to have some muscle :D

My post disappeared.
I will try this again.

What time can everyone be available on Monday?

I will be available whenever you want. However, with that said I liked the 9pm EST start time. Even though Karmic Knight had the largest problem with time there was another player (I forget which) that was fading pretty fast by the time we quit.

BTW, were you going to find a replacement for Karmic Knight or are we staying at 5players?

- Gauss

If Fiddle comes in we will have 6. If not then we will stay with 5.

Ok:)

- Gauss

M Human Expert 3

Same time as last time was good for me.

I think we were supposed to start at 10pm last time.

Odd, I thought we had agreed on 9pm. That was the time Karmic Knight could come since he couldn't play after 1am.

Here is the post by Karmic

Here is your post Watcher where you told Karmic the time is ok.

(Between them are some other comments about time.)

- Gauss

9 PM it is, and I like that better.

M Human Expert 3

Just making sure everyone knows the game is tonight at 9pm EST/6pm PST. (now)

You beat me to it. Down Comforter.

In case it was missed this is the link to the game.

how goes our americas next top model search? I know we got no pings in the gitp thread.

GITP thread?

As for how the search goes, there have been a couple of interested players. No characters turned in yet but I am in PM with one of the players who is working on a character.

- Gauss

Edit: Make that two interested players in PM with me. Crypteck and Malik Doom.

It is not going nearly as well as the first time around. I don't have any bites on enworld. Maybe I should try RPG.net.

We appear to have 3 new players interested. If only 1 sticks around that is enough.

- Gauss

M Human Expert 3

So did I miss anything important in that last 40 minutes?

We killed a small patrol of goblins. Nothing major.

- Gauss

Male Human Paladin/20

I will post my alchemist build soon. He will be a rogue skirmisher type.

So can I get a post with what we have, or will have in the party.

Confirming that I will be there on Monday.

Hard to find a 1/2 man and 1/2 animal. Wasn't going for wolverine. I am thinking more American Indian transforming into a sabretooth through primal alchemy. Maybe this:

Sabertooth

Heheh ok :)

- Gauss

So would a Elven or Human Magus instead of a dwarf fighter be acceptable and not too cliche?

Acceptable sure, but I will caviat that with the statement that we could use that Dwarven Fighter. We have no major damage dealer since the other fighter is a defensive build. But, play whatever character you want to play. :)

- Gauss

Personally, I think a ranger would go down splendidly with this party. If I didn't like my shield fighter concept so much I might have rerolled him into an archer ranger. We have survival covered through my fighter, but we don't have a character focused on wilderness lore. A Druid would probably go down well too.
