One of my PCs just took a rank and linguistics and asked me ideas for good languages for this AP, which is fair enough as I'm concerned. But I've only read through the 3rd module, and I'm not sure what to suggest. Any ideas? He already speaks Varisian.

If he plans on summoning he should pick up the outsider languages (abyssal, aquan, auran, celestial, ignan, infernal, terran). Apart from that, languages don't really come up hard in CC except Varisian. Pick up a language another PC has so you can have private conversations. Or draconic because it's the language of magic. It is, I promise, and I don't care what anybody says lalala I'm not listening :P

The Book of Abtuse Geometries discovered in Wake of the Watcher is written in Aklo. Also, if you intend to insert Carrion Hill into the adventure path, Aklo is very useful there also.
Varisian, perhaps Hallit (I heard there are at least some Kellids living in Ustalav) and Draconic. Also, casters who are keen on summons should pick planar languages, with Abyssal and Infernal being good picks alongside Celestial, though this also depends on alignment. Also, if the DM deems that the undead speak Necril, then by all means pick that, it's good RP flavor. I forgot to mention Aklo, but I'm glad Brodyz brought it up. Anyway, I'd say the best picks are Hallit, Aklo, and either a Fiend or Celestial language.
