Mage of the Veil: What's the DC for Master of the Veil?

Rules Questions

I hope it's not just me but I don't understand what the DC is supposed to be for the Master of the Veil ability from the Mage of the Veil wizard sub-school.

Quote:

Master of the Veil (Sp)

At 8th level, you can create an illusion that hides the appearance of yourself and any number of allies within 30 feet for 1 round per wizard level. This ability otherwise functions like the spell veil. The rounds do not need to be consecutive.

But what does that mean for the DC?

The level 1 ability Face in the Crowd says:

Quote:
DC 10 + 1/2 your wizard level + your Intelligence modifier

Veil is a 6th level spell. So the ability would use the same check as that.
10+6+int mod.

10+6+int mod.

That would be the best case scenario for me now! Is this the case for other more common abilities?

The standard rule is that if a DC isn't listed for a class ability, it's based on the highest level spell you can cast when you get it, which would be DC 14+mod. That being said, this one specifically calls out that it acts like veil, so it might use veil's DC. I'm not sure.

If it's not called out, it'd be 10 + 1/2 level + Int modifier since it's a class ability.
