Sands of time spell and Hardness

Rules Questions

This spell ages a creature or deals damage to undead, constructs or objects.
What it doesnt say is if this damage is subject to hardness.

As it is specially designed to damage objects I guess hardness does not apply. But what do you say?

Sands of time

My gm ruled that it ignores hardness, so that's cool for me.
But how does the rest here play it?

Grand Lodge

Well, it's not energy damage.

An argument could easily be made that as it specifically affects Undead and Constructs that it ignore hardness. Also, it does not say that hardness applies (as the damage is untyped). Seems that it is a "time" damage.
