Best 1st level modules for PF newbies, but not rpg newbies

Advice

Silver Crusade

Looking for some advice on which modules I should run for new group of players. Want to start at level one. This group is not new to RPG. 2 of the players are 3.5 players veterans, with 8 years of 3.5 exp each and the other 4 are 3-5 year rpg vets (4e, dresden/fate system , etc etc)

My first thoughts are to run the PFS intro series starting with In service to Lore, or run Crypt of the Everflame.

Any suggestions or concerns about either selection? Other better 1st level experiences? Thanks.

If you're looking for an intro to the Pathfinder Society campaign, then Intro 1-3 are really good as they introduce all the factions in the campaign. I personally love Intro 2: To Delve the Dungeon Deep, which consists primarily of a little dungeon crawl.

I've not run Crypt of the Everflame, so I can't comment.

I will say that We Be Goblins is a great low-level mod, but since you're playing goblins it's more of a one-shot than a start to a new campaign (unless you want to go that route). You can't really beat it for sheer fun, though, and it comes with 4 pre-generated goblin PCs.

EDIT: If you're looking to start a new campaign, you might look at one of the Adventure Paths -- the Rise of the Runelords hardback (updated to Pathfinder rules) just came out, and it makes a great intro to the Golarion campaign setting.

I've played Crypt of the Everflame as a player, and ran We Be Goblins as a DM, both via play by post. They're both good intros, and We Be Goblins can be tied into a Jade Regent AP campaign very easily.

Right now I'm recruiting for a level 1 module 'The Godsmouth Heresy' via a play by post game as well, so I can't comment too much on it yet, except to say that is more of a dungeon crawl than an open ended adventure.

If you have some 3.5 vets, there shouldn't be too much of a difference at low levels, although my experience with 3.5 is sort of limited.
