Looking for a monster

I need help finding a Monster, I am looking for an Alligator/ Crocodile type monster for a low level game. It doesn't have to be an animal, it can be of any type but it needs to look close to one of those. Hopefully something within the 1 to 5 CR range.

anything a little more monstrous. I am looking for a boss monster that is more than just an animal if possible.

This has some ideas to change that CR if you need.

Crocodile CR2 (as stated above)
Young Crocodile CR1
Advanced Crocodile CR3
Giant Crocodile CR3
Advanced Giant Crocodile CR4

Awakened animals, anyone? (Though this might up the CR...) This will change the critter into a Magical Beast (still very animal-like, though)

Or have you considered a dinosaur?

Dimetrodon - CR 3

or

Megaraptor - CR 5

Otherwise I would use the advanced monster templates like Mignight_Angel stated

Templates are a great idea for tweaking common monsters to make memorable ones. You could easily make a fiendish croc - even a were-croc. Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary is probably the best source of monster templates that I have run across - and I use it quite a bit.
