Numerian Characters...

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

with the Numeria AP coming out (relatively) soon I have been thinking of a few numerian characters or NPC's I wanted to write up... any random advice would be appreciated...

1) nano user- ok, so what would a silver mountain druid be like? could you summon gearsmen robots etc? for nanotech- using swarms (little robots) and some TK abilities here...

2) Technic League cybernetic Assassin- was thinking of monk and using the construct rules to give him extra arms etc... how hilarious would it would be if after the characters beat the assassin, no matter what they did, the adamantine limbs lit up and started dragging themselves back together again.. wanted him to look like an anamatronic actor with his fake skin ripped off... maybe after they discover he can look like anyone...

3) Technic League machine watcher- an inquisitor who hunts down all that secrete tech the technic league does not want falling into anyone else's hands...

By definition, the technology of Numeria and the Silver Mont are the antithesis of nature, and as a result, Numerian "druids" wouldn't really exist. Wizards would probably have created spells that allow them to summon, or rather replicate, the effects of a nano-swarm or summoning mechas. I don't know much about the assassin idea, but idea number 3 sounds really cool. It would make sense Numeria would jealously guard its mechanical secrets, so they would have Inuqisitors devoted to defending the "religion" of the Technic League.

Hold the phone, they've announced a Numeria AP?

Blight Druids would be plausible as a member of the Technic League, sort of those druids who go into the more harmful areas where radiation or hazardous energies linger. The wizard would most likely be the key thing, possibly transmuter or enchanter. Inquisitors who 'hunt' lost or taken sacred relics from silver mount. I could see Clerics and Oracles being a bit of a off aspect but possibly a machine cult whose clerics follow Karamoss as a example and his 'perfect gods' and possibly Oracles follow suit. I can see crossblooded sorcerers appearing as well and alchemist being more scientific in their studies, maybe bards acing as lowly poisoners and spies. The Magus and Summoner could appear in those who make up the lesser caste of the Guard and the summoner could summon constructs or extra dimensional beings.

That's just core stuff too, I haven't even touched 3rd party or homebrewed material!
