An Archer archetype Fighter can do so with a bow at 3rd level, using Trick Shot.
Trick Shot (Ex): At 3rd level, an archer can choose one of the following combat maneuvers or actions: disarm, feint, or sunder. He can perform this action with a bow against any target within 30 feet, with a –4 penalty to his CMB. Every four levels beyond 3rd, he may choose an additional trick shot to learn. These maneuvers use up arrows as normal.
At 11th level, he may also choose from the following combat maneuvers: bull rush, grapple, trip. A target grappled by an arrow can break free by destroying the archer's arrow (hardness 5, hit points 1, break DC 13) or with an Escape Artist or CMB check (against the archer's CMD –4). This ability replaces armor training 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Sunder
You can attempt to sunder an item held or worn by your opponent as part of an attack action in place of a melee attack.
So baring a feat/ability you can't do it at all.
If you CAN do it its based off of dex. If you use a weapon to make a combat maneuver the penalties and bonuses from that weapon apply to the combat maneuver.
Q: Since disarm, sunder, and trip are attack actions (not standard maneuvers like bull rush, overrun, or grapple), does the Weapon Finesse feat allow the fighter to add his Dex to his CMB for those specific attacks? Or would I need Agile Maneuvers no matter what maneuver I wanted?
A: (James Jacobs) Weapon Finesse, Weapon Focus, and similar feats would only apply when you're attempting a combat maneuver with that weapon. For the most part, this would be limited to things like disarm or sunder or MAYBE trip. You wouldn't get this bonus to things like overrun, bull rush, or grapple that don't use a weapon attack as part of their requirements. Agile Maneuvers applies to EVERY maneuver every time. [Source]

There doesn't seem to be a requirement for it to be a Melee attack on a standard CM.
When you attempt to perform a combat maneuver, make an attack roll and add your CMB in place of your normal attack bonus. Add any bonuses you currently have on attack rolls due to spells, feats, and other effects. These bonuses must be applicable to the weapon or attack used to perform the maneuver. The DC of this maneuver is your target's Combat Maneuver Defense. Combat maneuvers are attack rolls, so you must roll for concealment and take any other penalties that would normally apply to an attack roll.
It says attack roll not Melee attack roll.
BUT then you get down to Sunder and you get:
You can attempt to sunder an item held or worn by your opponent as part of an attack action in place of a melee attack. If you do not have the Improved Sunder feat, or a similar ability, attempting to sunder an item provokes an attack of opportunity from the target of your maneuver.
So yeah.. only melee. Which seems dumb as hell. But I guess they figure missiles would only cause small holes or catch in the item rather than blowing it apart...

I was thinking of House Ruling this so that without the Trickshot ability disarm, feint, or sunder could be done with a -8 CMB penalty.
Then I was going to add in a feat that brought this back to the same penalty as Trickshot however you didn't get the additional combat maneuvers at 11th level...what does everyone think?
Also is there a reference/link to the "ranged weapons deal 1/2 damage to most objects" rule?
Thanks

Ranged Weapon Damage
Objects take half damage from ranged weapons (unless the weapon is a siege engine or something similar). Divide the damage dealt by 2 before applying the object's hardness.
From damaging objects.
