These are two builds I have been mulling over.
str 17 17
dex 14 16
con 14 12
int 14 16
wis 07 7
cha 07 7
Elf
Elven curve
Guisarme
str 17 19
dex 14 14
con 13 13
int 13 13
wis 10 10
cha 07 7
Half elf
Elven Curve
Fauchard
I still have no idea what feats I should go for. Probably power attack, maybe weapon focus(fauchard).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

if your focusing on combat maneuvers you will need the maneuver feats as well as prerequisites.
in this instance using a fauchard i guess you will be utilizing trip.
feats
1 combat expertise
fighter 1 combat reflexes
2 power attack
3 improved trip
4 furious focus
5 weapon focus
6 greater trip
7 weapon specialization
8 greater specialization
9 fury's fall (if allowed)
10
11
combat expertise being the prerequisite for the trip chain.
combat reflexes so that you can trip off multiple aos with your reach fauchard. and power attack and furious focus so you can deal damage.
i only take weapon focus when i know its s prerequisite for something else when I'm playing a full bab class. the only problem I see with this is after level 12 in my experience you will start seeing some very high cmds, flying creatures, and untrippable opponents. so plan for your campaign. if you are only going to 12 then your set if you are going higher you may want to make some adjustments.

Thanks for the advice!
Yeah I'm mostly focusing on trip.
This character is actually being built for the Pathfinder Society so I won't really be going past 12.All though I was wondering what do you think is the better ability build, the elf or half-elf?
Half-elf if for nothing else than it is looking at 2 higher WILL save.

Neither the half elf nor the elf are by any means optimized for any fighter type. if you are limiting yourself to those take half elf. though i would be more inclined to pick human myself. but if flavor is your goal half elf fits better for a fighter type than elf.
A good point, I think I may take your advice.
