My wizard is about to hit 5th level and I'm curious about the add 1/2 your wizard level to the damage (minimum +1) bonus. Do we round up or down?
Do I stick with a +2 added to my damage or do I get to bump up to +3?

You always round down unless stated otherwise.
"Rounding: Occasionally the rules ask you to round a result or value. Unless otherwise stated, always round down. For example, if you are asked to take half of 7, the result would be 3. (PFRPG 12)"
Always round down unless otherwise stated. An easy way to think of it is +1 per 2 levels.
