I find this fellow's argument to be very linear.
One would imagine he could think of other dimensions to
add to his line of reasoning.

I got into a few arguments with a creationist on my campus. He pointed at a building and said "when you look at this building you assume it was created by a being with intelligence right?"
Me: Sure.
Him: "Okay - then why would you think differently when you look at something as complex as a human being?".
Me: Buildings do not reproduce.
Him: "What does that have to do with it?"
Me: Everything
Him: "Are you a scientist?"
Me: Yes.
He turns around and engages some students.
The following week he was back.
Him: "Did you know that evolution violates the 2nd law of thermodynamics."
Me: Really? How so?
Him: "Well - it says that things tend toward disorder."
Me: Yes in a closed system.
Him: "err...right. So evolution leads to highly ordered lifeforms."
Me: sure.
Him: "So that violates the 2LOT."
Me: No that only applies to closed systems. If it didn't, you couldn't make ice cubes or babies. You can freeze ice in your freezer, lowering its entropy, because you are bringing in energy from somewhere else. The freezer isn't a closed system. We are just local negative entropy spikes in the increasing entropy curve of the universe. We are not closed systems, the Earth is not a closed system.
His Friend: "The Earth is closed."
Me: No. The Earth receives energy.
His Friend: "Okay..from where."
Me: The Sun.
Him: "Are you a homosexual?"
Me: What? What does that have to do with anything.
Him: "Just answer the question."
Me: \facepalm
Him: "Well?"
Me: No
Him: "I think you are."
Me: I am friends with a few folks who prefer men...is that what you are looking for? I could introduce you.
Him: Turns around and engages students.
Him: "Are you a homosexual?"Me: What? What does that have to do with anything.
Him: "Just answer the question."

Him: "Well?"
Me: No
Him: "I think you are."
Me: I am friends with a few folks who prefer men...is that what you are looking for? I could introduce you.

There is a lesson here:
Always attack your opponents sexuality. It is a tried and true attack method. It puts them permanently on the defensive.

I have absolute proof evolution is a lie! If evolution is true and the earth is 4.6 billion years old why is there no recorded history before 4000 BC. Obviously because there was no history! Researchers say 1 of the 7000 languages on earth disappear every 2 weeks. Clearly the mechanism that created these languages should still be working and the languages shouldnt disappear! Why is this happening? Humans went from writing on stones to computers in 4500 years, why then didn't humans invent computers 4.6 billion years ago?
