Hello,
I might of just missed something but for weapons with Wound, for 3 of the effects:
Eye: lost eye, -2 perception
Leg: Severed limb, -10 land speed
Arm: Severed limb, lose a hand
Are these effects permanent, as in they need cybernetic replacement or a regenerate spell?
Just seems weird that these are really severe, given that both vital organ and brain are are pretty minor effects.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sparky

Hehe, how would a "severed limb" be temporary?
At least legs and arms are very cheap to replace, only 100 credits.
Eyes are a problem though, since they aren't on the augment table yet...

Actually, Con damage is the only ability damage that can kill a character - though it would require some stacking up to get it to 0. Not to mention all the stamina points lost, and Fort penalties.
And brain damage, while situational, in combat can be quite dangerous:
"You drop everything you are holding, you can’t take actions, and
you are flat-footed."

Yeah, thats kind of what I thought, but yeah didn't think it would be tempoary from a narrative stance.
My group are in the middle of no where with limited supplies, so missing parts are likly to be for a while.
I agree that the con can be deadly, but the con is a 5% chance of 10% chance to do up to 4 points, chances of doing killing someone is low, but there. However, the it can be recovered with rest even with limited supplies.
Stunned again another situational one, but yeah possibly deadly, but give it 6 seconds and you're done. Still it is what it is :-)
On the note of eyes not being on the augment table, you can get replacement eyes, Darkvision capacitors, standard (for example), but at 1,750 cr. it's a bit more costly. Still -2 perception is not too bad if you lean heavily that way.

This got me looking up the Wound critical effect, and check for its weapon fusion as my character's main weapon lacks a critical effect. Level 7 (or 10 for Severe Wound) is a very hefty cost for a critical effect fusion.
Granted, Knockdown is 6. But when you look at persistent effects like Flaming and Interposing being 5, aloting more than 5 for a critical effect seems a steep cost.

I always imagined synthetic organs would cost as much as basic prosthetic limbs.
Ditto. Or at least the 10% Bioware boost from Adaptive Biochains.
Though I suddenly find it ironic there isn't a super expensive Bioware item that gives regen.
EDIT: We have a full ressurection table, but not regen or specific organs.
