I rolling up a 2nd level lizardfolk druid, and I'd like him to save a dinosaur animal companion.
Are there any options available to him under the RAW? 3rd party content is nominally ok.
If not, does anyone have any suggestions for dinosaurs that might make suitable animal companions for a low-level druid. They don't necessarily have to be statted out (I can do that), but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get a tyrannosaur past my GM, so I guess we're looking at the smaller side of the dino spectrum.
Thanks!

Druid animal companions follow the specific animal companion rules. You can "skin" the AC however you like, but there is a specific choice you take and its abilities are then determined by your druid level.
Here is a link to the animal companion rules. The core dinosaur animal companion is the deinonychus, which is similar to the velociraptor from the Jurassic Park movies. There are other dinosaur options at the link.

Doh! I remember velociraptor/deinonychus being only available at 4th level at 4th level in the 3.5 days; I should have checked the rulebook!
Still it is a little ubiquitous; are there any alternatives? Unfortunately I don't have bestiaries to refer to. I'm pretty sure ankylosaurus, T. Rex and stegosaurus are not options for a 2nd level druid.
Again, suggestions for small, interesting dinosaurs that don't necessarily have stats are welcome!

Any companion dinosaur that a druid can take, they can take at 1st level, in Pathfinder.
Your 't-rex' will start out as a Medium-sized T-Rex, and never get larger than size Large (at 7th level), but you can start out with him, if you like.
Click that link that Adamantine Dragon posted in the very first reply, it's got all of the dinosaurs available in that list.
Deinonychus is cool, but there's also Allosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Basilosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Dimetrodon, etc.
For largest damage output at 1st level, and again at 7th, when their size increases, Deinonychus and Allosaurus seem pretty good.
Rocs are more portable, 'though. Nothing is less fun than trying to get an animal companion up a ladder, down a cliff-face or across a river... :)
The vast majority of druids I've either played or gamed with, online or tabletop (all but one, in fact), have gone for wolves, bears or big cats, so a dinosaur is at least something new and interesting.

They are. One of the really nice things pathfinder did with pets was to give you a level 1 form that advances according to a chart and according to its own progression, so you can start with a baby X at fist level and raise it to adulthood without having to change companions like you change socks (once a year in game time)
paizo was nice enough to make these available on the web Here
Ankylosaurus Companions
7th-Level Advancement: Size Large; AC +2 natural armor; Attack tail (2d6); Ability Scores Str +8, Dex –2, Con +4; Special Qualities stun.
Tyrannosaurus Companions
7th-Level Adv.: Size Large; AC +3 natural armor; Attack bite (2d6); Ability Scores Str +8, Dex –2, Con +4; Special Qualities grab, powerful bite.
Stegosaurus Companions
7th-Level Adv: Size Large; AC +3 natural armor; Attack tail (2d8 plus trip); Ability Scores Str +8, Dex –2, Con +4.
I think you can pray at the altar of James Jacobs for so many dinos being included.

Thanks for the clarification guys. I'm fairly new to the Pathfinder world!
Welcome. Feel free to ask for help. Make sure to ignore the neigh inevitable first post telling you you could have looked it up yourself, help is on the way, it just usually takes longer to look something up than to complain :)
Some useful links
The core rulebook, Beastiary's, and advanced players guide The little menu thingy on the left is good to scroll through the different books. The search function is getting better... but googling "paizo and the thing i'm looking for" has better results sometimes.

d20pfsrd.com (and paizo's online SRD) are the best ways to check out animal companions, as BNW linked. (They're actually the best way to check out anything. Actually purchasing books is so you can look at pictures, have something to show at PFS, and support the game. After that they're for propping up wobbly table legs.)
