Performance Combat without the audience?

Scarab Sages

Do the performance combat feats still "function" even when the character isn't performing for an audience? I'm thinking specifically of the ones that allow you to take an extra 5' step or move action on a successful performance check. Is there any way to apply those feats in "normal" combat?

Shadow Lodge

That's what the "Performing Combatant" feat is for.

Ahem... I have a question about performance combat when there is no audience:

What is the DC for the performance check?

A small crowd contains no fewer than two... creatures. So how can the crowd have a starting/current attitude (which is what determines the DC) if there is no crowd? Do you even have to make a check, or can you just expend the swift action to gain the full effect of a performance feat?

Bump before bed.

DC 20 if you have performing combatant feat

Thanks for the response. Do you have a link to where it says that? Are you just using the base DC for a "hostile" crowd?

EDIT: I'm an idiot
