Congrats, Adam, although I dare presume it would be sensible to give congrats to Paizo, too. Good luck with your new job!

Let me add my voice to the throng ...

Congrats dude! You will be a perfect fit!

Paizo just keeps adding awesome people (now, if only I could figure out how to join those ranks :)

Great, more flumphs!

Gratz Daigle! May your flumphs forever be flmuphy!

Congratulations again, Mr. Daigle! A great call all around, methinks!

[friendly jab] Well, you could start by becoming awesome. [/snark]

Huzzah! Huzzah! All the best to you, Daigle! From the moment you asked Gary Gygax to sign your teets, I knew you were special. You're a great designer and a great human being. Paizo once again chooses its staff with the utmost discernment. Congrats!

CONGRATULATIONS!

This is awesome.

Enjoy your newest adventure.

Adam may still be bound by that bet, even if it is just at the company summer party ;-)

I misread this as "company slumber party," which really puts those "secrets" someone mentioned in a different light...

Slumber parties or not, congratulations to Adam. Livin' the dream, man.

Thanks again, everyone! I especially love that I know everyone posting in here from either the long time messageboard community, meeting at cons, or actually knowing you folks personally. I appreciate the warm regards.

@Todd, I’m sure I’ll massage your text in the future. Looking forward to it. I have a text knife that’s +3 against wordcount.

@Brandon Man, thanks for the lovely post. You know I’ll be missing the regular Sunday game. Text me during the game like we’ve been doing for Greg since he moved. I’m glad you got into the game and I’m looking forward to cutting massive swathes of your text and storyline if given the chance.

@Lou and Mike Thanks my Cabbage brothers! Couldn’t have done it without your guidance in my early years.

Dude. I could never dream of asking Mr. Gygax to sign my bosom.
You've out "ME'D" me.

Awesome news, Adam!

And I can testify to the Gygax bosom-signing incident. I was there, and I believe it may have been the first time I ever met Adam Daigle. First impressions and all that. ;-)

Congrats Adam! I got the news on my phone as I was running an adventure you wrote ! How's that for a lovely coincidence ? I tried to call you but guess you were getting a ton of accolades.

I see Pazio wanted to guarantee that they made a clean sweep at the ENnies, so they drafted a clear contender into their ranks.

;)

All the best sir, I hope to see more Dictyoptera in future Bestiaries.

Get to the West safe and see you this summer; some celebratory drinks on me sir!

@Daigle - Now that you will be in a position of greater influence maybe you can fix that Blink Dog fiasco from Bestiary 2 which has been an embarrassment to your otherwise pristine reputation as a freelancer!

1) Damn you, Ogre.

2) I see no fiasco.

3) Solved.

What fiasco? Do tell!

Shadow Lodge

It's not much of a fiasco, I'm pulling his leg. I'll leave the details for the diligent researcher to discover.

Just remember, the words you have to write to replace those massive swathes will now be written on the clock, and not paid as freelance! ;-)

Also, welcome aboard!

Hey, I'm trying, I'm trying!

Congrats, Adam! And now that you're in a position of power, remember your blood oath to Eternal Cheliax, House of Thrune and the Almighty Asmodeus! ;P

Spoiler:
As for Neil's suggestion, don't cut Brandon too deeply; I know it sounds weird for a Chelaxian to utter those words, but I have a soft spot in my withered, black heart for Brandon and his work. :)

** spoiler omitted **

I'm gonna need some documentation of said oath. ;)

Adam's gearing up to travel to the Seattle area for his new job, driving in from Austin, Texas. A lot of us small press game companies are doing a fund raiser to help Adam get to Seattle without racking up a monstrous amount of credit card debt.

Here's my part - using Minimus.

I will donate $2 of every $3 purchase of Minimus between now and Adam's start date at Paizo (March 15th) to defraying his moving expenses. If you think Minimus is worth more than that, I'll keep the contributions proportional.

You can learn more about Minimus by going here:

Minimus for Adam!

So, help Adam move, get a really tiny RPG as a thank you.

I'm starting to become quite concerned. Adam has always been so... pure, so... unsullied. I'm afraid that his new coworkers might corrupt him.
