Oh, yeah, Cthulhu.
"I'm sorry, you made your perception check, saw the monster, went insane and killed the rest of the party."
Don't factor Elinor into getting the group going. At -11 she's way more dead than alive and would take two cure light wounds minimum (and possibly 3) to get back on her feet. In order to cast two cure light wounds with a spell failure chance. She's dead weight at the moment. If you're able to drag said dead weight back to civilisation so that she can become live weight again, well and good and she will be tremendously grateful in ways that only an Ulfen shield maiden can be. But don't put any effort into getting her vertical when you could be using the same spells to keep Abbas on his feet.
I'm a very gentle GM and really only kill PCs when an unexpected critical occurs. (I killed one of my campaign-critical PCs with a crit from a halberd once. It's a bit hard to fluff 3d10+24 on a 4th level character. Man did I have to do some re-writing that night).

I'd like some and good luck with the move michaelane. We are moving too, UK to the Channel Islands for a year or so.
It feels like my boxes of DnD books have multiplied in the garage into something ridiculous. Thankfully I have never been big on figures otherwise this be even worse.
Looking forward to seeing them bones photos.

Mine showed up a week ago (on Friday) - but also with someone else's order, which despite the "If you got extras..", I have to ship back. (darn it).

I moved into a larger house with a bigger yard due to an expanding family, but it was only to the other side of town North of Pittsburgh, PA.

About 100 miles for us, but then we may be moving back in Oct 2014! Not likely but you never know.
Just got the Dnd to sort in the garage. Wifey is looking at me expecting great things. But how do you part with anything? I found the first ever book I bought back in 1981. A thin light blue job with a scary dragon on the front.
The Fiend Folio came next.
Throne of Night is last.

Seneca - looks like a busy con. I'll have to review what I'm doing. I haven't kept up on any living campaigns - and unknown if you are doing those or not. If I can, I'll try and jump in one of these.

I haven't moved in years, and don't intend to. They can carry me out in my armour (and they'll have to wait till I can stop swinging my sword). When I run out of space for rules, I have new shelves put in... (One of the advantages of living alone).

We put in a pool last year, so we're likely not going anywhere either.

Whoever invented fast zombies that have a damage resistance to something (unlike "normal" fast zombies) is just a very mean person.

Did I break the game again?
PS - I am away on work from August 5 through 9th, then I'm having a game day on Aug 10 at my house, then Fantasy Football Draft on the 11th, then 2 work days away from desk on 12th and 13th, then it's Travel to Gen Con on 14th, for Convention on 15th through 18th and travel back on 19th. (and next root canal visit on 20th).
I'm going to be slightly busy during August. I promise to *try* to get to the computer every other day at least (with the possible exception of during Gen Con). Sigil, feel free to run Bryndyn until I come back. His interest is to help those who have fallen first, then the civilians, then escape.

You're just too strong, Bryn. :)

I'm back...getting unburied. Didn't play any RPG's...walked into the Paizo ballroom and hesitated...too many people. (Like 500 or more in same room??) Focused on Board and Mini's games (My son's preference). Played in Master Tourney for Catan (lost). Played in Wil Wheaton charity star trek catan tourney (came within 2 points of playing Wil) and enjoyed myself throughout. 49k people was a lot to deal with, however and my hotel SUCKED! I had to ask them to change the shower curtain....shudder....

That was a lot more than 500 :) They had 250 tables with room for a GM plus 6 players each. Not full every slot, but they were full for the Friday Night Special. My voice is still recovering from "projecting" my voice :) Awesome on nearly making it to the Wil game! And sorry about the hotel - yuck!
