You could use the Juju magic rules from serpent's skull (can't remember which one it is, 3 or 4 maybe). You can build voodoo dolls that you can cast spell through that affect the target, no matter the distance, for example.

I play a voodoo themed witch in one campaign and have worked out a series of "gris-gris" rules with the GM that allow the witch to make voodoo dolls ("gris-gris") that give my witch a boost to his DC against those characters. Making a gris-gris requires some personal item. A bit of hair is perfect for that.
