Order #1932640

Customer Service

This was supposed to ship out on Jan 20th, with 4-8 business days delivery time. I've since ordered other things from you guys and had them ship and be delivered already. The tracking number given in my email doesn't seem valid (said it's going to another state).

help?

Thanks,
JB

Due to the inclement weather in the Seattle area earlier this month, our warehouse was closed for a week. This resulted in a large backlog of orders going out. Therefore the shipment of your order was delayed. This is why it has not yet shown up. If it still has not shown up by the end of next week, let me know and we can take another look at it then.

As for the weirdness in the tracking... To be honest, this type of tracking is still pretty new to us, so I'm not really sure what this indicates. It could be that your package is not going to the right place, or it could mean that the Mail Innovations Distribution Center that serves your address is in a weird area relative to your address. It could also indicate something else completely, which I've never seen before. The only way to be sure is to give the package the time it needs to reach your address and see what the tracking says after the fact. This will inform what you can expect to see in the tracking for your future shipments.

Thanks,
cos

Yea, I think that this UPSMI is kinda weird. I live in Poughkeepsie, NY (80 miles north of NYC on the Hudson River). This is the tracking information that I got,

Feb 1 2012 Ready for post office entry Windsor, CT
Feb 1 2012 Package received by dest MI facility Windsor, CT
Jan 28 2012 Package transferred to dest MI facility Auburn, WA
Jan 27 2012 Package processed by Mail Innovations Auburn, WA
Jan 27 2012 Package received for processing Auburn, WA

with a delivery date of yesterday. No biggie, it should be here today or tomorrow. What is strange is why did it go to Windsor CT (120 miles), instead of the really big UPS facility just 15 miles south of me in Newburgh NY?

Not looking for an answer, just thought it was weird.

Packages shipped through UPSMI (Mail Innovations) go into the local USPS (United States Postal Service) system rather than UPS.

The weatehr delay, I can understand (despite another multipart order placed a week later already being processed and delivered). Tracking it to a post office in Atlanta when I live outside of Nashville... not so much.

Thanks for the replies.

I thought it left via UPS from you, and then went into USPS. In my case UPS from WA to CT, then USPS to my home.

Is this not true?

It starts with UPS MI, gets sorted through their distribution network and then dropped into your local USPS network.

And of course, the very day I feel enough concern to post a querry about it, the packages is sitting on my doorstep when I get home.

Patience, I must learn patience!
