in the thread for votes on new adventure paths, someone voted for an ap set in tian xia and someone else said not enough people would like it for paizo to do.
so i thought to myself "why not start a petition for it?", i didn't want to derail the other thread so here we are.
i would like to add my vote, i love the dragon empires gazeteer and with all the fascinating stories in asian mythology it would seem to be ripe for an adventure path.

I would enjoy a Tian Xia adventure path too. Especially if said campaign helped develop the the non japan/china like parts of the continent.

Seeing as Jade Regent is so recent I want to support this as a future AP, say sometime in the next 3 years. I'd rather see a Lastwall/Mendev/Worldwound AP first.
i should have been a bit more specific: i don't believe it'll come out right away-both because of jade regent and i'm sure they have ideas for the adventure paths a year out. i just want to make sure tian xia isn't forgotten after jade regent.
Hardcover Dragon Empires guidebook plus Adventure Path would be superb.

In fact, a nice twist would be to take one of the "themed" AP that people wish for and give it a Tian-Xia flavor.
Too late for Skulls and Shackles sadly (the asian pirates theme can be quite popular).
a tian xian mega-dungeon perhaps? now that would be fun.

Not to rain on all the Tian-Xia love, but we've had a ton of Tian-Xia support recently.
I agree the Dragon Empires Gazetteer is outstanding, and expect no less from the primer, but with Jade Regent just finishing up, I can say there's a lot of other APs I'd rather see them tackle before putting out another Tian-Xia-related AP.
Of course, I suppose my vote doesn't really matter; not like I'll be canceling my subscription regardless :)
Hell, a lot of people would buy it, myself included. After all, there's many, many subscribers out there :)

Although, with only 2 APs a year, we would (absolutely minimum) still be 1 year off, more likely 1 1/2 or 2. I think after 2 years, I'd be ready for another round of pseudo-Asian adventure.
just to reiterate, i was talking a bit further into the future. someone in another thread said paizo would never do a strictly tian-xian ap because no one would buy it.
i disagree.
i decided to circulate this petition to prove their are others would also appreciate it.
i'm more then happy waiting awhile.
frankly i've been happy with everything i've gotten from paizo so far.

I would love a Tian Xia specific adventure path - as in an adventure path that entirely takes place in Tian Xia, instead of ending up there.
Not that I mind that the current adventure path starts in "the West" and goes to "the East" (Tian Xia), I understand why that was done.
It would be cool for a whole AP devoted to exploring Tian Xia not just the Japanese inspired part but most if not all of it.
The jungle to the south sounds interesting with that "titan" that landed there and the island chain with a connection to Saurusan.

Anyways, I'm all for this. I'd be happy with it set anywhere in the continent, as they're all interesting. I suppose though that if they do a full Tian Xia AP, I would actually want it to be a few APs later from where we're at now. I'm equally excited for pirates as I am the fifth Jade Reagent book.

I'd support this happening in 2013 or 2014. For now, there are other places I want to see the APs go, and other things I want them to do.

+1 I was kinda dissapointed, that most of the current AP features the way into tian xia.
I'd love to see it.
Personally i'd like something involving nagajor, zi ha, chu ye or wanshou vs kwanlai. its so hard to say because its all so awesome.
a quick question for the developers: will the map of tian xia that comes with the jade regent map folio be more detailed then the 2 in dragon empires gazetteer (there's nothing wrong with them, just curious)
I have to say, given the quality of both the Dragon Empires Primer and the Dragon Empires Gazetteer, that the Paizo folks have entirely changed my mind about future adventures in Tian Xia.
It's not that I'm clamoring for more (there's several other items significantly higher on my 'want' list), but they've 100% convinced me that it's a wonderful place to set adventures.

As always, I want to see an AP dealing with Baba Yaga returning to Golarion, and replacing the Queen of Irrisen. If you can tie that with the Land of the Linnorm Kings, so much the better.
As far as the Worldwound/Azlant, if Paizo is not ready to go big and advance the meta plot a little (and don't kid yourself, I believe each and every campaign setting has one, regardless of how subtle or overt it is), then I prefer they wait till they are- for even greater awesomeness when they do.

Agreed. Jade regent is a 'half' Asian AP and love must be spread. Still, I would continue to do modules set in Tian Xia, perhaps something along the lines of Kobold King.
That's really ALL I want in life in a Tian-Xia AP ;)
