I love this idea!!! I wonder how I can convince my dm to do something like this. I hope it all works out for you!

They suck at low levels, and it is not until after level 13(at the earliest) that they catchup again.

We are at level 14 right now and he still has not caught up. He has a Paladin cohort that does better healing then he does.

We have a mystic theurge in our group and it kind of sucks just saying. He was considerably weaker then the rest of us that the GM had to jack his character up till the point that he is now broken but still can't cast the high level spells we now need. This is just my personal opinion and what I have experiences with the mystic theurge.

We haven't started to play yet but so far the group is:

CG Female Kitsune witch - going to act as the groups healer and is a pacifist for the most part specializing in Enchantment spells. She has kept the fact that she is a kitsune a secret by staying in human form.

LG Male Halfling Bard with the Street Performer archtype calls himself a barcher (bard archer)

LG Female Half Elf Monk no idea what archtype she is using is the twin sister to our fighter from the runelords.

CG Male Human Caviler with the knight errant order. Going to be acting like Tom Cruses character from the last Samurai.

Should be interesting how we all work together once we start playing.

I am not sure if this is in the right area or not. I had a question about Kitsune and their human forms. In the Dragon Empire Gazette it says that they get one human form that does not change. How is that form decided? Is it based on the humans that they see? Is it totally random? Would it be possible to have a Kitsune from Tian with a human form that looks like Ulfen? Or would all Kitsunes look like Tian humans?

It was a hilarious session, especially since the player of Sailor Moon even did some of the cheesy speeches I researched :-D
I used the haunted curse to reflect the clumsiness, and the player rolled a 10% chance something out of combat might go wrong (fall down etc.).

Anyway, I just thought I give you a build according to what's written above and thank you for a hilarious few hours:
** spoiler omitted **...

I love this!!!! ^_^ I wish my group was cool enough to let me make cheesy speeches without totally getting ripped apart and teased to death for having fun.

I am totally for this!

Can we beg for a spoiler?

Bad question let me rephrase it, I'm already begging, what's the chances that we'll get a spoiler?

Don't do that! He'll just say that one of the feats allows you to beast shape into a fox!

~shifty eyes~

That being said, I scrapped an entire character concept for an upcoming Jade Regent campaign that I had been working on, on and off, for months and built a kitsune.

I WAS THAT LAME!

...

Spoiler?

I did the same thing I totally changed my character concept just to build a kitsune. Now to convince my DM to let me play it for Jade Regent.

Wow this thread has grew a lot in the last few days. I never would have thought to use the Oracle of Heavens for Sailor Moon. I am excited that the Dragon Empire Gazette has a Moon subdomain in it. To bad none of the good aligned Golarion gods have darkness as there domain.

I played around with the inquisitor for a while I just couldn't figure out how to make it work. I like a lot of the ideas for the other Senshin that have been posted.

We tried a rule of cool stunt in our group but the GM shot it down and declared no rule of cool ever. She went as far to threaten the player who invoked the rule of cool by saying that she could think of plenty of "cool" ways to kill the party.

The stunt by the way was to tie a necklace of fireball to an arrow and shot it at the ancient white dragon that was flying at us.

Jadeite's guide: Says more than we could ever say.

The link does not work.

I am looking for help building an inquisitor of shelyn. I haven't played an Inquisitor before and I don't usually play spell casters. So any advice would appreciated.

I wish the star knife did more damage. IT only does 1d4 where a chakram does 1d8. I need to look more into the Inquisition stuff.

O.k. I am better now. My first (And might I add failed) attempt at DMing involved a Sailor Moon import. My Dad (Let's call him The DM) in character kept calling them tarts for dressing so scantily and was upst that they kept preventing him from properly dealing with imported Darien/Mamoru (Who was corrupted).

Anyway... Import warlock (Particularly Enlightened Spirit PrC), or go with oracle or one of the hybrid classes (Bard, Magus, Inquisitor).

Timely post by the ways as I just read volume 2 of the 20th anniversary release of the manga today. I'm rather liking it.

See the manga is what inspired me to make a sailor moon character.

Okay this is what I have so far.

I am thinking Chakram as the primary weapon going off the magic tiara she uses. I am leaning towards the inquisitor class. Why is there no Moon domain? And am I missing something or is pathfinder lacking a moon goddess?

i was thinking more something that reflected the character.

This is turning out to be a lot harder then I initially thought.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I know this sounds crazy but I want to play Sailor Moon. I would love to see how she would play out in pathfinder. I have no idea where to begin I've never done a conversion before.

I am not to worried about the healing part from what I have been told we will have a npc cleric with us.

How does your group/DM handle healing? The witch is the only obvious healer candidate in the party. A pacifist could make that interesting when the war mongers get hurt, but it could also lead to party conflict.

We use normal healing rules.

SnowHeart wrote:
Just because it sounds like an interesting concept, I'd play the witch with the pacifist spells. Could be a fun challenge.

Well part of the reason why I want to play a pacifist is cause right now I am being teased a lot for my archer being the the heavy hitter in the group and really not giving a second thought about killing an enemy that would kill me. I tend to overkill the bad guys. My group would never see me playing a pacifist. I love the idea of being able to surprise everyone.

As of now my group is still playing Rise of the Runelords we will probably start playing Jade Regent after new years. Everyone in my group seem to know what they want to play already and I am always changing my mind about what I want to play.

So far we have

a monk most likely half elf don't know for sure who is LG,

a halfling sorcerer with the dragon bloodline working on becoming a dragon disciple also LG.

and a human cavelier who is a knight errant who is CG

So far my ideas consist of a human witch who will mainly have pacifist spells or a rogue/sorcerer with the celestial bloodline to multi-class to arcane trickster.

For Runelords I am playing a elven ranger that prestige into arcane archer and I don't think my gm ever wants me to play an archer again.

So any ideas or should I just wait till it closer for us to play to worry about it?
