Yes, I knew that when I opened up the template/nonstandard race option I'd see some unusual concepts and that they wouldn't all be balanced. Elesandira will face her share of challenges and issues to go with her increased power level. Many of the other systems that I've gamed with didn't have nearly as much emphasis on balance or level-appropriate encounters as Pathfinder does, and I usually don't worry too much about exact interparty balance as long as I can keep things moving so that everyone is challenged and presented with an enjoyable game. The story you tell will always trump the numbers in my game. Don't play a blasphemous half-fiend because you want higher attributes and damage reduction, do it because you want to explore the character's role in Cheliax culture and try to play the hero despite everyone assuming the worst of you.
I was fully expecting to see people play with some of the exotic +1CR templates or races like centaurs, lycanthropes, feytouched, half-fiend, and elemental infused. Most of the people who submitted characters preferred to go with more 'normal' concepts and I don't have any problem with that.
Please, play what you will enjoy and don't worry about the numbers. If building Thom with a template will improve your experience and make for a more interesting character then go for it... just make sure it's the story you want to tell and not something that's getting tacked on for the sake of having bigger numbers.

The heroforge output might not be the easiest template to work from. I always hand write my stuff, feel free to take a look at some of my Pathfinder chararacters to see if the layout will work better for you:

Thank you for the patience and consideration. I've reviewed the CR +1 templates... nothing really fits the character.
And, it's probably just my opinion, but the character doesn't seem to fit the campaign, especially if there will not be enough gold or time to craft much.
