Is it too late to change Ability Scores after one game?

Rules Questions

I have a question. Is it too late to change the ability score on my character? (Ranger)

Why I am asking:

I found out something while typing up my stuff. If I change the way I distribute points, I free up some extra Ability score.
As it stands now, I have the following Ability Score:

Str 14 (12+2 Race Bonus) - Dex 16 - Con 13 - Int 10 - Wis 14 - Cha 10

I figured out if I take out 2 points from Dex (returning 5 Ability score) and put the race bonus in there and put those 2 points into Str (3 Ability Score spent), I gain 2 Ability score for other things.

Str 14 - Dex 16 (14+2 Race Bonus) - Con 13 - Int 10 - Wis 14 - Cha 10
(was thinking of putting the freed up points into Con)

I used this as reference by the way: http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/gettingStarted.html

Ask your DM just accept whatever he says.

Well accoring to the rules, you can't really make changes after character reation. So you have to talk to your GM about it.

But having played only one game, I think that most people would be inclined to allow it.
