This is for a Pathfinder Society Organized Play pc. I have a feeling it would have been called out as more a rules question though and directed here, which it is. Being for the society, I should mention that in society play, bestiary feats are mostly banned unless specifically called out. Hence, multi weapon fighting does not apply. Actually glad about no multi weapon fighting cause I don't feel a -4 penalty to all attacks would make this worth doing.
I think there is a general rule somewhere that whenever attacking with a natural weapons in cunjunction with manufactured weapons, primary natural attacks at full bab and str damage get turned into secondary attacks at -5att and 1/2 str damage? Is this an actual general rule or just somthing added to a few special cases? Where is it?
So the suggested combo just seems too good to be true to me.
APG p.74 Beast Totem, Lessser
UM p. 17&18 Tentacle & Vestigal Arms x2
It just seems too good to be true that I could full attack at full bab with:
a 2-handed for 1&1/2 str damage(twice at bab+6)
still attack at full bab with 2 claws at full str damage
and even throw in a tentacle attack at full bab and full str damage.
Meanwhile,
APG p.75 Fiend Totem, lesser
mentions a gore attack at full bab & full str damage but also says that if used in conjunction with weapons, in that case, it is at -5att & 1/2 str damage.
Guessing Paizo failed to see Vestigal Arms and the Lesser Beast Totem or sorcerer bloodline claw attacks interacting and thought with both claws attacking, the player would have no hands left for attacking with weapons and failed to see the need to add the -5att & 1/2 damage to claw attacks that they predicted with the gore attack. RAW, claws have no such penalty. I suspect they don't list them due to them being written/published 1 or 2 years before Vestigal Arms.
I am looking for a rage power that can be taken at 2nd level of Bbn. This is standing out so much stronger than the other level 2 rage powers in my extra multi limbed build. Even if my original intention of so many extra limbs were to hold a shield, keep one free for grabbing and useing extracts, mutagen, potions or throwing bombs as needed and another limb to carry a freaquntly used wand and avoid the move action to get out, all while still useing a 2-handed weapon.

I had no intention of mixing different totem powers. I was only pointing fiend totem out as an example of why i think the first combo of beast totem, lesser and vestigal arms/tentacle, manufactured weapons would not work, rules as intended(RAI), even if it seems to work rules as written(WAR). Presuming the -5 &1/2 str is only valid when specifically called out and not always as I suspect but cannot yet find proof of, especially given how all these claw attacks are written/published before the vestigal arms were written/published.

Well, i mean if you want to do that, get feral mutagen then vestigal arms x2 followed by fiend totem. Then you can have 4 natural attacks on top of your two handed weapon.
However I've often found that just sticking to the natural attacks gives you more reliable dpr, when you actually do the math. Specially once you start adding even more natural attacks later on.

Natural attacks when combined with weapon attacks are always secondary. And thus if you swing the greatsword, you claws/gores/bite all become secondary. You can find this rule on page 301-302 of the Bestiary under natural attack.
