As part of the rebuild rules the local lodge quartermasters will purchase gear at full value until your character reaches second level. Any good you would be unable to sell back must be paid for

Tristan notices the absence of crossbow bolts from his gear just before he heads to be briefed and purchases some cold iron tipped crossbow bolts as well as a cold iron dagger

Sort of, but effectively yes: 25 gp more. The great axe and shortbow are part of your starting gear (both common, mundane articles from the CRB). PFS allows for a rebuild before playing a character at level 2 and starting gear falls into that.

Maybe... AC 20 is pretty tough for firsties. Fortunately they had to roll a 6 to get past an item's hardness so they were ineffectual except as nuisance.

I pushed us forward a bit, we have much to go yet. Please retcon any conversations you would like to explore.

G'Day all,

The party needs to meet a certain number of successes to calm the kami. At a table I would be happy to play each attempt individually, but in a PbP that kind of time can kill us. (& I think we are already on a time crunch).

I need everyone to please make three checks (Nghtkit is done). Please add some flavor to at least one of the checks, but if you want to simply roll for them I am ok with that too.

Each of you may make an three actions to try and calm the kami. Typically this is a skill check but an clever use of spell will also work. Here are some guidelines.

  • One cannot use the same skill more than twice.
  • Any skill with a decent explanation can be used to handle the kami.
  • Examples include using Diplomacy to help calm the spirit or Knowledge (nature) to offer appeasement.
  • I will award competence for particularly clever or well flavored options.
  • There is a bonus for showing the biters are no longer a threat (+2 to all future rolls).
  • Please make all three checks at one post if you can :)

    I may have your chronicles done tomorrow, but I will not likely be online long enough to share them with you. We can expect them here Friday or Saturday. The other table is a day or two behind you.

    This was a very long game, and a little disjointed. I do not know if that is me or the nature of having four quests tied loosely together. I will be happy to fill in story questions if anyone has them!

    I had not seen any information about Gameday X, but if someone has a table with a spot to fill, please let us know here. :)

    This was a fun game despite its disjointedness!

    Sadly, my two games are full for Gameday. Looks like Merida is in my Core game. There are still a few tables left.

    Did we find any spellbooks/scrolls/things like that? If so, Malakar would add the spells to his spellbook. Also, Tristan is a wizard, correct? Can wizards trade spells, right? Malakar found a few non-Core spells his last adventure if Tristan wants to trade.
