Missing lines in some posts

I've noticed..and one of my PbP players has noticed the same thing..that ocassionally you get a line in a post that doesn't show up in normal view or when posting an initial reply but does when you edit..it's only occured in the one thread for me but it caused my player to miss some information.

Any reason for this?

Had something like this happen, depending on how I found the post. Via boards or via my account one sentence was missing a section. I could swear it looked right in preview as well. Didn't catch it till late so couldn't edit.

We have a recurring (but fairly rare) problem where not everyone immediately sees edits that were made to a post (but they will be able to see them eventually). Gary's actually working on something today that *may* solve that problem.

I did in fact roll out the new stuff a few hours ago. Have you noticed an improvement?

As I said Gary this has only happened to me once..I know I haven't missed a line in any post in the last few hours.I am noticing a faster response time for edits however.

I haven't had to edit any of my posts tonight, but I will keep an eye out and let you know if it has gotten better on my end.

Edits still don't seem to be 'sticking'.

Or more properly... I make a post, I edit post. The post looks edited to me... And then my SO asks why the the error I just fixed is showing up on his newly refreshed version of the messageboard.

You can't test this yourself as your own edits will always appear fine for you.

Edit: I don't think is as rare as people seem to think, its just subtle and often someone won't realise when an edit is made (pointing out a fixed error is one of the only ways someone would realise it). Its been happening to me and my players a few times a day for some weeks now.

About a couple of weeks ago, one of my own edits didn't show up for me on my second browser-session the same day. It showed up fine again on the third browser-session. That has only happened once though.
