i heard recently that paizo is expanding companion line to every month and i really love (and miss) the national companions (andoran, taldor and sargava are my favorites).
my question to everyone is: what country do you want a companion about next.
my vote for top five are:
1. rahadoum
2. nex
3. galt
4. realm of the mammoth lords
5. jalmeray
just curious as to what y'all vote for:)

6. Galt
7. Mendev
8. Alkenstar

Liberty's Edge

A book devoted to Numeria would also be nice.

You guys forgot Numeria!

In all seriousness, companions are somewhat dictated by Adventure Paths, so a Companion of the Shackles is not out of the question. In fact, I think this one is up next after the Dragon Empires one.

Actually, I never understood why there are country books in a player-oriented line, and I'm still kinda jaded why Cheliax is a 32-page book instead of 64 pages it deserves. Ditto for other country companions. I hope they get another shot in Campaign Setting line.

It was because they are the factions for PFS, I don't really expect them to do anymore countries in the Companion line. Although Companions for the other 5 factions would be a possibility.

I'd very much like Companions for the 5 new factions. That's a great idea.

But country books should be strictly in the CS line.

Suddenly, it all makes sense. I suppose Sargava was just a bonus to go with the Mwangi campaign setting book for Serpent Skull.

I have often wondered where the next AP will be set. If there are to be more player's guides for specific countries, I would imagine at least one would be for the next AP, if it's set in more than one country (the first country getting a campaign setting line book)

Whatever it is, chances are it will have something to do with Norgorber and Torag, as, assuming Irori will be detailed in the Jade Regent along with the already-confirmed Shelyn (not at all a bad guess considering the setting), those are the only two major deities to not yet have been detailed.

Ooh, a chance for an art order depicting Shelyn as a geisha!

My votes:
1. Jalmeray
2. Lands of the Linnorm Kings
3. Galt
4. Alkenstar/Mana Wastes
5. Mendev

I really liked the Ustalav book. I am all in favor of more like it.

Nation Companions? Now there's an idea...Oh... I thought someone was suggesting a supplement named.. International Escorts.

Never Mind.

AP 10 has already been announced as Skulls and Shakcles, a pirate-themed campaign set mostly in the Shakcles.

Also, although Paizo try to theme their deities to the AP they are in, they don't always fit perfectly, especially this far down the order...

Question:
Has there been a companion book for river kingdoms and/or Brevoy?

River Kingdoms, yes. It was written by a whole bunch of very talented people, in wildly differing styles, and, IMO, was kind of a miss.

Brevoy information is in the Kingmaker AP, but it doesn't have a seperate product.

Thank you, i didn't know that there were "nation guides" for PF (and not 3.5) in the chronicles line, i thought all of the PF "naiton guides" were either in the companion or campaing setting line.

Just because we did a 32 page book on a nation doesn't mean we'll never do a 64 page book (or an even BIGGER book) on that nation.

We did a 32 page player's book for Cheliax, Qadira, Taldor, Osirion, and Andoran because those are the 5 original factions for Pathfinder Society, and wanted to give those options all equal representation.
