All right, all changes for everyone approved. And Monkeygod, as the first part of your boon (Everyone's will get better, I usually design them on the fly but since Reyelle's/Jaycen's is already up, I'm fine with that.) could be you getting another bloodline power in place of the first level destined power. Just shoot it to me and I'll most likely approve of it.
Other than that, we are good to go, when everyone has a character sheet up and ready I will start the game, though we still have one slot open if anyone else wants to jump in. Might go make Darkestheart do it, I liked the idea of a Barbarian in this party. Either way, almost ready to go.

DarkestHeart |

A thousand times a thousand apologies. I am here. And I would love to still take part. Sorry I had a hectic few days of gaming. We hit level 9 and level 7 in two different games, Wednesday and Thursday, then I practically slept away most of yesterday(today as it is like 2am). I'll get a Character Concept up and done and an Alias, fast as I can. Like... next hour and a half fast, hopefully. Sorry to hold things up.

Linnorn Tooth Necklace: Over the years of Olav chewing at this necklace in thought (or more often boredom) some of it's powers seem to have infused him. Specifically his spit, which has become lightly charged with elemental energy. Once per day, as a standard action, Olav may make a ranged touch attack against an enemy within 30 ft. The attack deals 1d8+half of Olav's level in cold damage. Targets often also feel the need to shower afterwards.
Feel free to tell me if it doesn't fit your char in some way, but I like that as a first ability to the necklace, you?

Reyelle |

Kiaria was raised in the town of Tamrivena, a paranoid border settlement, in the Palatinate of Canterwall in the Kingdom of Ustalav. born of Varisian descent, her father Harnin a fearless criminal and her mother Glynda a dancer, Kiaria's childhood consisted of lessons in gypsy culture while surviving difficult bouts of poverty. Growing up the daughter of a reputed Sczarni, Kiaria suffered endless scrutiny at the hands of the local Wallguard, and although interrogated several times, never revealed the details of the many crimes she witnessed as a silent accomplice. These younger years have shaped Kiaria's perception of the law, giving her a righteous sense of justice through thievery. "Steal only to survive, and take only from those who can afford to share" was a code shared on a familial level and often gave Kiaria peace of mind when committing crimes.
During her teen years, Kiaria along with her two older brothers Opor and Minnarn, were slowly but surely inducted in to the ranks of the nefarious Sczarni. Committing minor crimes at first, planned by their aging father, Kiaria blossomed in to a skilled con artist, running sham card games and performing card tricks with sleight of hand. Meanwhile her brothers were becoming hardened thugs, and in an effort to protect their younger sister, began distancing themselves from their beloved sibling.
When Kiaria was fourteen, Her father had her mentored by a charming pick-pocket by the name of Chenzo Frallino. During her tutelage, Kiaria fell madly in love with her newfound instructor and the two soon became not only lovers but also great friends. Many times, they survived harrowing encounters together while plying their illegal trade, and this only served to strengthen the bond between them as time passed.
Recently things have changed in Tamrivena, and the already pervasive suspicious attitude of the Wallguard has reached new heights. Banishing Kiaria's family to the ramshackle gathering of wagons and huts known as Nathrus village on the outskirts of the western wall, Captain Balton Rhasrakin has instigated a meticulous citywide purge of the gypsy network and has since refused entry to any suspected of being Sczarni affiliated. This has resulted in a rash of Varisian arrests, many of which were hauled off to the dungeons underneath the Traitors Tower of Fort Vhiled and never heard from again.
One Year ago Kiaria and her boyfriend chenzo stumbled into an awkward situation. A travelling scholar had come to Tamrivena gathering research for one of his many projects. Kiaria's brothers, now heartless stick-up men, had cornered the professor before he could gain enrty to the town proper, and threatened to take his life if he did not give them what they wanted. But the scholar refused, stating that he was a man of principles and that sometimes you must be ready to die for what you believe in. For some reason, Kiaria felt mercy for the traveller and together her and Chenzo engineered and escape for the stranger, successfully spiriting him beyond the village and into the town. Unfortunately while distracting a patrol of Wallguard, Chenzo was captured and subsequently taken into custody. The stranger, filled with relief and happy to be alive, introduced himself as Professor Lorrimor, and before parting ways mentioned that he would not forget Kiaria's kind favor.
Although in her heart, she had hoped Chenzo would someday escape his imprisonment, Kiaria slowly began to realize she had probably lost her beloved to the dungeons. She became cold and distant, refraining from family activity and shunning her fathers teachings. Spiraling into a depression, she experimented with various drugs culled from the pockets of unsuspecting marks. Although still a novice user, she has found a particular fondness for Pesh, not only for its incredible high but also its relatively cheap price.
It had been nearly a year since Chenzo's disapperance when Kiaria received the summons to Ravengro nearly fifty miles to the south. Apparently the professor they valiantly rescued had perished, and her presence was requested for the funeral. With her life in Tamrivena in shambles, Kiaria decided to turn her back on everything she has come to know and love. She has adopted her middle name "Reyelle", and has travelled to Ravengro in secret to pursuit the life of an adventurer. Meanwhile, her father and brothers blame the government for the dissappearance of Kiaria, and continue a campaign of illicit deeds and criminal enterprise.

Olav:*Takes a bow* Thank you, thank you. Figured you would like it.
Rayelle: Approved in it's entirety, you're ready to roll!
Everyone else: Get your chars done and we can get started. I have most of the ideas for your DM boons figured out already, will clarify them as everyone's characters take shape.

Domli Forgearm |

Just got my character sheet done. I'm mailing it out as soon as this is posted. Here's my three traits:
(CC Trait) Subject of Study Trait: +1 dmg to undead
Sacred Conduit Trait: +1 to channel energy DC
Indomitable Faith Trait: +1 to all will saves
P.S.: Dwarfness is awesome. In medium load with no penalties! :D
Max Dex goes to +3, but my Dex mod is 0 anyway... boo+yeah
Check Penalty goes to -3 or what armor you're wearing... whichever is worse. Mine's worse.
And finally, your movement will decrease slightly [awesome quote]Slow and Steady: Dwarves have a base speed of 20 feet, but their speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.[/awesome quote] so again, no effect. Hello pack mule. :)
EDIT: DM Boon is my holy symbol. A wooden symbol inlaid with gold given to me by my father upon my leaving. He only noted it would come in handy... somehow.

Ryuko |

Loving the flavor everyone. So, to get it straight, we have:
One giant Ulfen Barbarian so grizzled as to be hardly human.
One Cutpurse Varisian Rogue who can literally steal the cloak from your back.
One Varisian Sorcerer obsessed with his Harrow Deck and his heritage
One Dwarven Cleric (Of?) with his fathers holy symbol
And One Farmboy Monk who longs to get away.
Cool. Liking how this group is shaping up. Also surprised to see mostly humans, I don't think I've ever had another group like that.
EDIT: Just checked up on your sheet Domli, and you seem to be short a bit. Maybe it's a typo but you seem to have bought your attributes with 9 points where the amount allowed was 20. Of course if you want to remain that way feel free *Evil DM grin*
Other than that, you're approved, working on a mechanical benefit for your boon now.

Ryuko |

OK, Ideas up:
You couldn't say what made you take to Harrowing immediately, but your first true Harrowing was certainly too early, the magic was raw and uncontrolled, and you feared you might see far too much. Your fears were realized, as you drew the cards of The Vision, The Idiot, and The Theatre. The symbols appeared, in Varisian style, upon your body in blazing light. You saw a vision, a true vision, of what was to come. Everything of your life passed before you, and it was only through sheer force of will you kept your sanity. Mostly. The memories are locked away, and you only call upon some, knowing that if you were to remember all your life as before, you would wish to die, for knowing everything is far more terrible than knowing nothing.
When you prepare spells, you may choose one of your tattoos to be active that day:
Vision: Gives a +2 to Perception skill checks. Once per day, may cast any Detect spell as a spell like ability.
The Idiot: Gain a +4 bonus on Will Saves vs. any form of domination or mental debuff. Twice per day may cast Hideous Laughter as a spell like ability.
The Theatre: One of your tattoos comes to life. It speaks very little, if at all, and only in a dry, half-joking tone. You know this creature is from some form of god, or creature beyond your understanding, and you are unsure why it has been assigned to you, though it always seems to be watching, and perhaps judging. This functions as a familiar using your level - 2 (Minimum 1) as your effective wizard level.
Hope you like it, feel free to suggest changes, rules modifications, or to point out how stupid this is for your character. Anything works. Seriously though, the boons are meant to be interesting and fun, if they don't work for your character, please inform me.
EDIT: Also, have you looked at the Karmic Wildblooded Archetype for Destined Sorcerers in UM? Might be good for you, the power is certainly more interesting than the power for Destined characters, though you might not want the arcana. Tell you what, if you're interested you can substitute it for the first power without losing the arcana.

Ryuko |

Uncertain on yours Domli, but if you'd look at UMs Ancestor Mysteries for the Oracle and see if you'd like Ancestral Weapon or Blood of Heroes. Blood would be based on your WIS modifier instead of CHA, and both using your level instead of Oracle levels. Those suggestions until I can find something more appropriate.

Me'mori |

And One Farmboy Monk who longs to get away.
"Long ago, in a region far, far away..."
I'm going to go with the "Empty Hand" APG package for Ama, which rather makes sense (I think) for him. Too busy working to traditionally train, he nonetheless managed to find a way to use anything. The brass knuckles were something he likely claimed off of the attempt that was made on the professor, and the shuriken proficiency was something he picked up in the times between jobs, throwing whatever was on hand at a target (cup, bucket, etc.) I'm going to give him a deck of harrow cards, though.. When throwing things got too boring while waiting for a job there was always a game of Towers.
It is a question, however of whether or not he'll have the -4 to improvised weapons, since that is rather unclear in the wording of the class package. It looks like he does not, since it says it replaces the normal monk weapon proficiencies. Just wanted to double-check.

It says specifically that you gain the proficiencies in the place of the monk proficiencies. So no -4 nonproficiency penalty, you'd be proficient. Enjoy!
Olav the Grim: APPROVED!

Monkeygod |

That is a really freakin cool DM Boon!!
couple of questions: How long to the bonuses/familiar last? I'm guessing all day till I prepare spells again?
Also, for the Vision ability, its one Detect spell once a day, not each one once a day, right?
dumb question: I can use Touch of Destiny on myself, right?

Domli Forgearm |

What was the base number? It's usually 8, right?
8 -> 12 = 4pts8 -> 10 = 2pts
8 -> 10 = 2pts
8 -> 10 = 2pts
8 -> 14 = 6pts
8 -> 12 = 4pts
Total points = 20
Do I have the wrong base?
EDIT: Also, totally new to the whole point buy thing. Normally we run either 4d6 and drop the lowest or give attributes 17, 16, 15, 15, 14, 13. Sorry for confusion.
EDIT EDIT: Will take Blood of Heroes. Thanks!
EDIT EDIT EDIT: Ugh... Sorry, just fixed all my points. Learned in PF the base is 10. All done, ready to play!

Ryuko |

Here's the link to point buy setup for Pathfinder. Should help.
And Blood of Heroes is fine, you can base it on CHA or WIS, whichever ends up higher. (Guessing WIS) So once your fixed send/post a character sheet and I'll give final approval.

Ryuko |

To keep everyone updated:
Reyelle: Finished and Approved
Olav The Grim: Finished and Approved
Dormli Forgearm: Finished pending Approval
Akydidyka de Aptal: Boon finished, Character working
Ama Freewater: Character working, Boon working (Any ideas?)
(Personal Friend, character unknown): Concept Stage (but he promises he will be finished tomorow, and I can b#@#~ at him till he is :) )
So there we go, mostly done, when I get at least four Finished and Approved I will create the IC thread though I won't advance it until we finish everyone. Just so we can begin working on the opening scenes.

Akydidyka Serrin de Aptal |

Ok, CS fully done. Backstory on the way, will try to get some up morrow while at work. Been talkin to a buddy of mine for inspiration/insight.
EDIT: my Harrow deck, can it be masterwork without having to pay for it as it's been passed down through generations, or should I pay for it? I have enough gold left to do so, just curious.

Ama Freewater |
Character's done, I believe. Ah, I didn't provide a link. Boon? I've got no real ideas.. What would an average joe want that would be above and beyond the norm?
Hm.. no weapons.. No heirloom armor.. It ~is~ Ustalav, though..
Well, given that his traits are courageous and skeptic, the best I can think of is a "good luck" pendant or charm that everyone in his home village got that is said to "ward away" evil.. You know the type; it's paid lip service, but no one takes it very seriously-- but they don't discard it and wear it daily.

Ryuko |

Domli: You're still approved and don't worry to resend for this, but since you have a rank in Linguistics you should have one more language. Just a note.
Ama:
Since that day you have worn the amulet, though you have been tempted many times to take it off, something always stayed your hand. After all, what harm was there in keeping it?
Lucky Amulet: Once per day, when Ama falls below 1/5 of total health (2 hp at present) this amulet activates. It heals Ama for 1d4 + 1/2 Ama's level (min. 1) in damage and immediately casts a Protection spell on him. If the creature that struck the last blow was Evil, the protection spell is against evil. If Good, the spell is against good. If Neutral, the spell activates as either Law or Chaos. If a True Neutral being gets the last strike the Protection doesn't activate, though the healing still does. The amulet may have other abilities unknown to Ama at this time.
Basically a get out of death free card. Enjoy.
Also: In order to preserve the flurry flavor, most monks in my world wear Monk Bars or Monk Rings instead of brass knuckles. Functionally identical, but are bars or rings of material fitting over/across the limbs or other body parts, meaning you may make the same attacks as kicks, knees, elbows, headbutts or any other strike. Changes nothing except that you only must buy one set (2 gp, 2 lbs) and allows for fun flavor text attacks instead of only punching. Up to you how you go with it, just thought you might enjoy.

Me'mori |

I've always looked at the flavor of the mechanics as a "end result" sort of things. Since a round is six seconds, the action does not work like a turn-based RPG-- stand.. one or two swings.. stand until next turn again. There are several swings and feints and such, but the telling hits (or any hits) accumulate up to the damage rolled on the dice.
I'm trying to stay away from the "MONK" flavor and only going for a touch of "monk" I'm picturing like a slightly refined brawler, with his style learned from nights at the Clear Skies inn. That was what I was thinking for the pendant.. It addresses the two concerns I had for now.
