Scarab Sages 1/5

1 person marked this as a favorite.

This to start a PFS Lodge in the greater Charleston area. We have planned a kick off at the Berkeley County Library,
595 Sangaree Parkway, Summerville SC 29483, on July 30, 2011 the library opens at 9:00am, we can start any time after that.

The mod is "Master of the Fallen Fortress" for 1st level characters only.

This will be a great opportunity to join in with a new group and learn together!

As I stated today, I will be happy to play in the game and help get the new lodge off to a fabulous start.

Well I suppose if we can't have you then it's nice to lose you to a brand new lodge! Good luck...and we still miss you here. You will always have a spot at our table. I expect to see you at PaizoCon next year. We finally got to go to our first one and it was a BLAST!!! I'll keep checking in to see how your new group is going.

Miss having you at our table,
Angela

I am here and looking forward to this.

Great replys here. We have enough players to run the 2 tables! There is still room, so we'll be able to support walk ins too.

I am soo sorry you won't make it Angela. Your characters really Rock. But I understand, your resposibilities with your Olympia Lodge. I hope to be able to get back and do more gaming with all of you. (Y'all) my bad, it is taking me awhile to learn the language here :-)

I have found a couple of really good gaming groups, it really made me feel much better about the move.

Good game today. I just wish I had more time.

It's great to see another PFS group starting up in SC. For those who played in Master of the Fallen Fortress (2010 Free RPG day module) and are interested in playing in We Be Goblins (2011 Free RPG day module) come on up to Barnes and Noble in Forest Acres Columbia, SC on August 20th. Get some free dice and have a great time. For more great PFS play in SC, NC and GA look for events on the PFS Calendar that start with "SCARAB"

Grand Lodge 1/5

We had a really good game! 6 PCs a lot of splashing around :-}

I'v made another event (7237) for us on Aug. 27 at the Green Dragon in North Charleston. I'll be running 2-21 The Dalsine Affair for PCs level 1-7.

Green Dragon is a great game store, check out their website and read their rules at http://greendragoncharleston.com/index.htm.

Just looked up the description and reviews for The Dalsine Affair and it looks good to go. Should be interesting

Ya'll come on up to Barnes and Noble or Heroes and Dragon's this weekend for some great SCARAB PFS events.

Hey guys, you don't know me and I don't know if you still pay attention to this thread, but I'm a student at College of Charleston and am interested in getting a PFS group (or two or three) started this upcoming semester. If any of you have suggestions on how to get started... well, I'd definitely appreciate it!

Go to SCARAB Gaming Convertion's facebook page and announce you are looking for people, or post here at Paizo or at Green Dragon and Here Be Books in Charleston. You can always go to a NonCon or Games Day in the Park and meet people and Pro+-Con was a good event as well. You can keep up with SCARAB events and always play some PFS scenarios at our events. Check our website www.s-c-a-r-a-b.com for numerous local retailers and events close to you in Charleston.

Great suggestions! And welcome Drigs!

Come November I'm going to run some games at "Gathering in the Park" in Summerville.

DCII, I just went to your s-c-a-r-a-b web site and very nice job. Could you put your PFS games on the PFS web site also? It would make it easier to get the word out to more people. Just an idea.

I'd love to come down and play in one of your games. Are you planning on running anyplace besides Green Dragon?

I was going to try and make it to the next few events at stores down in ol' Chucktown, so I wanted to see if you were runnin anyplace else....

Liberty's Edge

My plan was to get some sanctioned events running every few weeks or so on campus for the CofC students. I'm not sure how comfortable the school would be with non students attending events on campus, but if I can't get a club or something going, I suppose I could head up to Green Dragon to play and bring the others who were interested. it would be nice to get an official club for Pathfinder going at the school, but that is still up in the air.

If you check the PFS calendar here at Paizo.com you'll see the SCARAB events listed as "SCARAB (details)" to make them easier to distinguish.

I'll be running The Midnight Mauler at Firefly Games in Lexington, SC (90 minutes up the road) on October 22nd, 2011. I'll run it twice if we have enough players and Paizo sent me all kinds of cool promotional stuff and some cool BOONS to go along with all the other cool promotional stuff SCARAB has to award to players.

Very cool DCII! Unfortunately Oct. 22 is also the CAG gameday and we will be running "The Frostfur Captives".

Nov. 19 is the Gathering the Park, and I will be running all 3 parts of "First Steps" for brand new characters. They can start with no faction and end with exposure to all the factions and choose the one they want to support.

BTW your SCARAB web site is fantastic!

We ran #33 Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible on Sat. and had a GREAT time.

PFS is growing thru out the area, and I want to thank everyone for all their help!
