Spring Attack & Vital Strike

Rules Questions

Vital Strike effects Attack Actions which are Standard Action. There are 4 Attack actions listed in the Core book. They are Melee Attack, Ranged Attack, Unarmed Attack, and Natural Attack.

Now Spring Attack is Full Round Action that allow you to move, make "Melee Attack", and move again. Melee Attack is a specific Attack Action. Since vital strike applies to any of the 4 Attack Actions it looks to me like it would work and that the Change to Spring Attack to be a Full Round Action has no effect on how Vital Strike works with it.

Just from reading the rules it seems to support Vital Strike working with Spring Attack.

Of course it if you read the Charge Special Attack it also allow you to make a single "Melee Attack" but Vital Strike is allowed on Special Attacks but I can't find that in rules. I've only seen a Developer on this site say so. I think it Jason if I remember correctly.

So if they don't want Vital Strike to work with other feats why not errata Vita strike to be a Standard Action. That clears up both issues and make it clear as possible that the Vital Strike can not work with Spring Attack or any other feat that comes out in the future that is its own action. Seeing as they have Change both Spring Attack and Vital Strike in an errata already and didn't clear this up leads me to believe that was not their intent but still Spring Attack and Charge may be rule arbitrarily not work as exception to the rule on Attack Actions.
