So my party wants to make the Perlivash the Faerie Dragon their royal assassin...oddly he would be quite good at it if you go with the RAW rules for it, also who would suspect a faerie dragon as your royal assassin. Yeah it seems silly to me but I was just posting to get some feed back. Also they were considering the kobolt chief, and that made a lot more sense to me. One last thing what about recruiting the fay creatures, like the dryad, or the nix sorc, just thought I would put that out there too.
Any feed back would be great

Well Perlivash the Faerie Dragon is CG. He is not going to be a assassin of any kind. Now Cheaf Sootscale on the other hand. He can be your assassion and will not ask any question if paid well and his tribe is left alone.
Well, the only problem i see, is the fact that perlivarsh can't wield an executioner's weapon. Since the royal assassin is an executioner.

The thing to remember is that the Royal Assassin doesn't have to assassinate. Could be your covert trouble-solver, using bribes, intimidation and half-truths to get the job done.

I motion that Hama is executed first as an example to all other nay-sayers!
Your lack of imagination and your mindless adherence to outdated traditions is depressing. A faerie dragon executioner will not bother with a stupid axe. He'll befuddle people with euphoria and prod them off a cliff into a ravine full of brightly painted spikes.

I second the motion!
Man, that would be a way to go...

As written, I have a hard time seeing Perlivash (or any faeire dragon for that matter) accepting any position in the government, much less that of Royal Assassin. Now, if it were Royal Prankmaster, he might be all over it. I read faerie dragons as much more "Stick it to The Man" types than the type who want to work for The Man. So just say he collapses in laughter at the suggestion, then short sheets the Royal Bed that night.

Perlivash already has a history of quietly murdering people. He would be perfect fo rthe job. My group made him the diplomat instead however. They ended up with a random encounter barghest as the Royal Assassin.

We had Tyg and Perlivash holding Spymaster and Royal Assassin for a while, swapping positions between them whenever they felt like it. They were more assassins of reputation than killers, and seemed to have fun with it for a while, then they moved on to something else and we filled the slots with other folks. The rest of the party weren't big fans of fey, anyway, though my bard (the king) thought they were great.
