Well "Information is ammunition."
I'm not that big of one,
Watched the TV series, and played MechWarrior 2 (all 3), MechWarrior 3, and MechCommander (Reg and Gold)Back to the Topic of the Thread
I really want to have a sneak peek at this AP and its Players Guide.
There was a TV show?

Yes, Their was a TV series called BattleTech
And it's official in-universe canon. Kinda...
General of the Armies Adam Steiner:
Long before he became General of the Armies, Adam Steiner—descendant of Simon Borge Steiner, who refused the throne in favor of his more capable sister, Tatyana—was a strategic instructor at the Nagelring Academy when the Clan invasion began. Driven to investigate these invaders and liberate his homeworld of Somerset, Steiner formed an ad hoc force he dubbed the First Somerset Strikers and led them into numerous engagements against Clan Jade Falcon from the cockpit of his AXM-2N Axman. Though his hollow victory on Somerset (where his Axman—then piloted by his brother Andrew—was reported lost) formed the basis for a poorly reviewed holovid miniseries, the campaign itself first demonstrated the tactical and strategic acumen that earned Steiner his current position as the virtual ruler of the LAAF and the embattled Lyran Alliance.

Okay. Now back to the regularly scheduled discussion.

Hey, any Chances of getting the players guide between July 14 and July 25?
Probably quite slim; the Player's Guide tends to go up at the point that the AP is going out. For example, Serpent's Skull had it's first post on July 30th 2010, and Council of Thieves had it's first on August 21st 2009.

None at all. It'll be going live close to the first day of Gen Con; hopefully a few days before that Thursday. (Part of this reason is because it's still got a few weeks of editing and layout left, but mostly because we generally don't release Player's Guides that early before the AP begins).

So around July 27th to Aug 4th, I could live with that.

NO! Juju zombie VanCaskerins! Female VanCaskerins (three brothers, no mention of sisters).
Also, Ameiko doesn't need to be the iconic bard; she's the iconic Ameiko Kaijutsu! When is the mini for Ameiko coming out, BTW? Hrm... Ameiko assembly kits, with different hairdo heads... Anyway, when is one coming out?

I wonder how many starting scenarios the Paizo staff are covering for this AP, i.e Amieko dies in RotR, or has kids.
Not many at all. We give some generic, vague advice, but there are SO many different variations there that it's really going to fall upon each individual GM to decide how things map out. Easiest change, of course, is just to change Ameiko's name and have her be someone else entirely, I guess...

So advice generic enough to cover as many scenarios as possible and have the GMs fill the blanks, not bad. It would supply a variety in the start even if the starting scenario was the same.
And all with the assumption that there's nothing to worry about anyway, since not everyone's played Rise of the Runelords, and of those who have, not all of them had Ameiko play a key role in the adventure beyond what happened to her in one encounter area.

Excellent! It's 1am here, so I'll be heading to bed; but I'm hopeful to see it up when I wake in the morning ;)
"VERY soon" does not mean "It will be out today."
It means that, assuming all goes according to release plans that I am not 100% privy to and thus cannot say definitely one way or the other, it will be available by the time Gen Con starts next Thursday but probably before.
I've signed off on the final approvals for the PDF, in other words.

I just got mine added to My Downloads. Wow, what a huge improvement from past APs! The interactive map! The clearly labeled table of contents! The detailed advancement track! And the module itself is simply gorgeous!
I can't wait to see this thing in print. Bravo Paizo!
