The following spells are different from your standard cantrips. They are rare cantrips. Spellcasters that gain access to all 0-level spells at 1st level do not gain access to rare cantrips. A spellcaster gains access to rare cantrips only by uncovering their secrets in some other way. Some are guarded by jealous mages, while others are lost in missing libraries or molder on forgotten scrolls. These cantrips are not legal in Pathfinder Society play.
(Emphasis Mine)
Given the first bold/italicized statement, I wonder, could access to these cantrips be gained through play at some point? As part of a chronicle reward, perhaps? I ask mostly because the first statement seems a bit more definitive, but I can't help but wonder/suggest the idea.

As of right now there are no plans to make the cantrips in Jason's blog post PFS legal.
Hyrum.
It's still an awesome idea! If you asked nicely is there a chance they [the-great-powers-that-be] might say Yes?
Introducing a unique item or spell in the occasional adventure might create a bit of buzz...

Instead of writing some snarky comment about how the Antagonize feat in UM is legal, yet these cantrips that look to be far more balanced are not, I'd like to simply ask what factors you consider when deciding what Paizo material will or will not be legal in the campaign?
Sincerely - some insight into the process would be very interesting.

And yet in not writing a snarky comment, you wrote a snarky comment.
And to keep my own contribution from only being snarky…
How much material that appears only in blogs do you see available in PFS?

'tis a gift. Whether from the gods, or further south is up for interpretation and debate.
I haven't surveyed the available material much, but I do seem to remember that James's blog post about subdomains of lesser worshiped gods was made PFS legal.

Just checked the alternate resources page, and no blog only information is acceptable to use.
My opinion, and Mark and/or Hyrum would have to correct me if I’m wrong, is that the reason these Ultimate Cantrips are not allowed, is because they are blog only material.

Mark's going to kill me but since he's out of town until Tuesday....
Yes, this blog post is legal for PFS. You must bring a printout though to any game where a character uses one of the subdomains.
Hyrum.

Interesting, this should probably be added to the current additional resources page then.
