Among the party in my campaign is a half-orc. We've only had one session so far, and she was in disguise at the funeral and walking to the Lorrimor home, so I haven't yet had to play out the locals' reactions.
I know there is a previous thread generally about hostility to monstrous races in Ustalav, but I'm wondering if any of you have half orcs (or other problematic races) in your parties, and how specifically you've handled it.
Currently, I'm planning to handle it on a case-by-case basis. I figure Jominda, Sarianna, and Zokar are likely to be open-minded. Jorfa and Benjan may be more hostile. I don't know about Grimburrow. The others are likely to be in between. And the vast majority of villagers are likely to be very wary? I've said that Lorrimor spoke to Hearthmount about this character, so it ultimately shouldn't make things impossible around town.
Any thoughts are appreciated!

No half-orcs in my campaign, but I think you've got it down pat. There's probably no one in Ravengro that's going to outright attack the PC, but plenty who will cross the street or make a sign of protection when they approach. You might have the party start with two less trust points, but I think going case-by-case is the best option.
I can see Grimburrow being fairly reasonable, so long as someone in the party takes responsibility for the half-orc. Jorfa might even be friendly!
In my own party, I've got a Tengu and a Dhampir. The Tengu disguises himself as a plague doctor (he may be viewed by Pharazmains as an omen), and most who see him take him to be a fanatic or paranoid. The Dhampir has a few ranks in Disguise that serve to mask him as a rather pale half-elf (and several more ranks in Bluff to convince him that he's not an assassin). If either got found out in Ravengro, they would likely be chased out.
