I plan on attending. Bought my badge, spending all weekend in the PFS room. Literally, only bought PFS events and Mega Paranoia.
Hoping there's a pick-up game Thurs. night though, I didn't get into any of the games listed.
Will have to work during the day Thursday and Friday, but I'll be around during the evening, and all day Saturday and Sunday.

It's probably too late for people to back out now, so here's my tentative GM schedue:
Thurs Afternoon: We Be Goblins!
Thurs Evening: Midnight Mauler
Fri Morning: Midnight Mauler
Fri Aft: Last Stand I
Fri Eve: Last Stand II
Sat Morn: Last Stand I
Sat Aft: Last Stand II
Sat Eve: You Only Die if Kyle Baird is GM (or Twice)
Also, I am currently at 57 sessions - planning to run a couple for Free RPG day. So at Origins... Star Party!!

I _might_ be attendng. I might grab a ride from a friend. PF would be the #1 thing for me to do, but wth this beng a last minute thing and it looking lke all the PF slots are full, it may be hard for me to justify the expense of hotel split and kicking in for 8 hours of gas and tolls from NYC.
News that everyone who showed up15 mnutes early at pazo con got seated is encourageing along wth adivce to show wth generic tickets but I would still feel I wasted a lot $ if I dd not get at least an average of 1 game a day. If I go, I would likly be there on Wed and stay through Sunday.
I also have pleanty of LG dming exp and some pf gmng exp and would be willing to gm some games also.

The only people that were "turned away" last year was the sunday morning table of GMs that got pulled to run tables for walkins.. other than that we didn't turn anyone away and always found a table for them.
come with your badge, generics and a willingness to work with us and I'm certain sure we can figure something out.

I set things up to attend. If all goes well, I will be there Wednesday. I will bring the few pfs mods I already gmed, about four, in case it is helpful. Any chance of any of us doing some independent pfs on Wednesday?
Does anyone know how expensive the generic tickits are? Someone told me they thought they are based on something like a two hour window as opposed to full slots.
An origins vet told me that we can find:
good food at the North market,
night life in the short North,
and my favorite type of club, a goth club called Outlands.
Anyone else want to go dancing ?
What is public transplantation like in Columbus?

I think a generic ticket last year was 6$ per slot and you buy them in 2$ tokens (I could be totally wrong as the badge/ticket stuff isn't working on the site now)
North Market is awesome for foot and find pretty much anything there I think
Not sure on the night life ~~ there is a garden beer thingie that I'm sure a fair number of us will be camped out at right around the convention center
I would assume that taxi's would be readily available.. I had a couple in my phone last year when I went but didn't need them.

In addition to cabs COTA has various park and rides around town, and runs downtown a lot.
Here's the Columbs Downtown Website.

I just looked at the events pdf and the PFS slots appear to be $4 each.
I'd be up for PFS on Wednesday. I live in Columbus (Pickerington actually) and work downtown. I'm not a very good dancer though. :)

Anyone else want to do Wednesday? I am guessing we may be able to use the open gaming area Wednesday if the PFS space is not yet open to us. Though I do not know that will be open yet either so early in the show.
Also thought Wednesday might be the best night to see Columbus since we know there will be PFS events Th, Fr, Sa. Anyone got suggestions where us tourists should go? Any place to do sp? bungie sp? cord jumping? I suspect base jumping and sky diving may be beyond my budget but I am still interested. Odd how I do not look for local New York business for such but this trip has me not wanting to miss an oportunity. Even if my plan is mostly to stay inside and game.
Thanks for that info on Columbus, I will try to make time to check them out.

Disaster has struck - my weekend got eaten. A friend who I haven't seen in 5 years is a few towns away and only around for the weekend. I can only make it on Thursday, sadly, and I'm not technically signed up for any events.
As disappointing as it is to miss out on a great fun weekend, friends and real life do come first :)

I'm gonna try and make up for it next year by making it to Origins *and* Gen Con!
