Hello all!

Hey everyone!

I've been browsing these boards from time to time but figured I should man up and make a post. This seems especially prudent seeing as how I played my first full PF game last week and will soon be DM'ing it for the first time in a new campaign starting soon!

To give you some background, I have played all editions of D&D including 3x, but went right to 4e when it came out. 4e is where I have been the entire time since then, until now. After a 6 month break from gaming (we had scheduling conflicts) we have all decided it was time to go "back" to 3.5, but more specifically to give Pathfinder a try.

Based on the rave reviews I have seen, I have been recommending it to those who were not enjoying 4e (for example, my brother) despite having not really tried it myself. I felt comfortable doing so based on what I had heard from many people whose opinions I respect. So, now that I am playing, here I am, looking for a place to discuss the game ;)

Browsing around as I have, I have seen a number of people I know from other communities. If you know me, give me a shoutout here maybe? let me know you are here!

In case you are still here reading this and are interested, I have a blog at theweem.com where I pretty much have been talking about D&D and mashing up D&D related images for the last year. I'm also on Twitter via @theweem incase you feel like chatting up PF with me there ;)

Anyway, I better stop there or this could go on forever - I just wanted to say hey and introduce myself while taking a minute to hopefully find some familiar faces!

TheWeem is one of the the few 4E proponents from ENworld whose posts I actually pay attention to and read on occaison and his blog and 4E resources on his site are pretty tight.

I've been seeing this a lot on these boards recently. Has there been some recent event on the WoTC side that is driving some 4E players away or is Paizo doing something new to draw 4E players in? Just curious.

I know there is a ton of overlap between the two groups of players but over the last few months I've noticed a steady stream of 4E players migrating to PF and showing up on the Paizo boards.
