Jon's HP roll: 1d8+1
Jon will take Brew Potion as his 3rd level feat, with the special effect that he brews teas. Also, he took ranks in Knowledge: Geography to reflect his wanderings.
"When this is finished steeping, you guys are in so much trouble. It's not even funny. Does anyone have a wedge of lemon or a sugar cube?"

My life's going through a bit of a rough spot (call it a quarter-life crisis), although (generally) I've still got free time. This probably won't have any affect on my posting rate (if anything I'm feeling better than I have in months, but that might be short lived), but I want to bring it up so you'll have context in the event of a sudden absence on my part and also so there'll be context for any other announcement (the summer may get pretty hairy).
That said, I'll definitely be busy for the next three or four days.

HP Roll > 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Also, I am thinking about two possible prestige classes for the next level advancement > Horizon Walker or Nature's Warden. Which do you think would work best in this campaign?
Another thing or two > I need to choose a 3rd level Feat, and am considering having an animal companion. Thoughts on these, please.

Magnus Thunderf00t |

Not sure if you're looking for general commentary, or just from the DM here, but I prefer horizon walker and it's hard to beat the cats for animal companions.
Also: Level 3 hp for Magnus 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Shadowborn |

Hedgeknight: Either one works, though I prefer the horizon walker. It's just such a cool class, and gives an internal impetus to the party to get out in the world. I agree with Magnus about feline companions, but then wolves are also good, especially when they're not tripping your sorcerer and tearing him into bite-sized pieces.

Thanks for the advice > I was leaning more toward horizon walker anyway, and was considering doing the riding mount...but may not go that route. Shadowborn, since we have some down time, would this be a good time for Jinjer to find an animal companion?
If so, how do you want me to go about this?

Don't you get the companion at 4th level? I think at this level Jinjer chooses her shifter's blessing.

Jinjer |

I forgot that Jinjer was a shapeshifter. Aren't they only allowed to have the natural weapon style? Unless I missed something during character creation.
Admittedly, I'm a little jealous that you're going down the prestige class route.
Actually, I decided not to go the "shifter" route. I had already forgotten about the combat style I was supposed to take at 2nd level anyway. So, if it's okay, I'd rather go the horizon walker route.
Jealous? Of little ol' me? Ah...Stilgar...shucks. :)

RE: purchases: Magnus would like to set aside 225 GP for scroll crafting and purchase the following: compass, magnifying glass, everburning torch, invisible ink(average), skeleton key
Here's a diplomacy check to know who to talk to about the more clandestine items:
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
And a bluff check if I get caught. "No officer, I was looking for the sack market, not the black market"
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

Stilgar Fulgrum |

Stilgar will pick up a grappling hook, silk rope, smelling salts, and an extra healer's kit (76 gp, I believe). (Speaking of which, I can't remember whether I exhausted my old one's uses on Bronda's goons way back at the inn.)
It's mostly for fluff, but provided it's available, he'll also spend 300 gp on the components that would be necessary for pimping out his weapon into something a little shinier with masterwork transformation.

hedgeknight |

Alright > still trying to determine what to do.
Here's what I'm thinking > find an animal companion that I can also ride and train in mounted combat.
If that won't work, I will take Dodge, then Mobility, and work toward Shot-on-the-Run and more from there.
Oh, and I'm definitely going for Horizon Walker with the next level up.
If that type of animal companion will not work with the game, she will buy a mule for hauling all the gear she wants to buy. :)
Thoughts?
Jinjer will attempt to find and purchase the following:
Masterwork backpack
Earplugs
Bloodblock
Smelling salts
Silk rope
Potion of CLW
Gear to go with riding mount if needed

I apologize for yet another prolonged and unannounced absence. I've been handling everything poorly of late, and this was no exception.
I'm currently dealing with college admissions, a (potential) move, and cleaning up the fallout from some family issues that reared their head at the best/worst possible time. Everything's come to a head this summer, basically.
I'm really torn about the game - I've missed enough that it's a bit difficult to follow, and in all truth I'm not sure I'll have the time or spare effort to catch up, especially since the next couple of weeks will either be extremely busy or supremely disappointing. However, when I was engaged, I did very much enjoy it.
Ultimately, given that I'll almost certainly be harried and busy for the entire month of July, I think it may be best for me to step out. I really did have some fun with all of ya'll, but I just don't think I can really do my part.

Magnus Thunderf00t |

We'll miss you, and I think I can speak for the group in saying that you'd be welcome back if you ever so decided. Even as a cameo of sorts.

Shadowborn |

I don't know. I've got people M.I.A. in both groups. I'll just keep the head shouting until it gets someone's attention. I'm just amused that I've got both groups in the exact same area, just at different times.
Red group: You're in the past. No spoilers!
Blue group: You're in the future. No spoilers!

Magnus Thunderf00t |

I've already had my spin at the giant head. Like Tarrana, I'm letting someone else take the reigns. I've got the answer to the question that was most pressing to me, and I can't think of much else to ask right now. Though, I fully intend to come back here. and often.

Do what you like. It's your hearing, after all. ;)

Gaius Gracci |

Will Gaius is rather short on questions at the moment. Maybe something about this earlier group that we seem to be following but he has heard enough about fey/cursed magic to be VERY careful around what looks to be something for nothing.

Where, oh where have all my players gone? Just because I'm letting Brodgar off the hook, that doesn't mean the rest of you can slack off. *cracks whip*
Just want to let you and my fellow players know that I too will be leaving the game. Normally I just disappear for awhile and show back up, but that is irresponsible and unfair to everyone, so this is my official "exit" post.
Thanks for the opportunity to game in your world. My leaving is nothing against you as a DM. It is more my dissatisfaction with the Pathfinder system. I'm selling all of my books (I have them listed over on Dragonsfoot.org) and heading back to my 1E & 2E roots. Best of luck to you all and good gaming in the future!- Gary

Sorry to hear it. It's been fun having you in the game. You're welcome at my virtual table any time.
