Well, strictly speaking, knowing that would require a Knowledge (nature) roll.
Knowing that bats are blind? The village idiot knows that much.
I am aware, but I'm running under the assumption that they are not acting alone. Besides which, the sound illusion will work on them just fine.

Some frustrations aside, I can't help but to appreciate how this encounter is going from a roleplaying perspective. The new party has a long way to go when it comes to trust and cooperation.

Just realized how awesomely creepy some of the Witch spells are. Wondering how many people are good. Kalaya's neutral and I'm considering blood transcriptiopn as a spell, which could be pretty tricky when used in certain company.

Doctors say it was a minor heart attack, probably brought on because he hasn't been taking his meds. They're keeping him for observation and releasing him sometime tomorrow. He's promised to keep taking his meds from now on (talked to him on the phone and this was the most scared I've ever heard him in my life) and my chef brother-in-law is working with my Mom on a dietary plan. Sounds like an all clear. I'm going to go pass out now and pick this up in the morning.
