And this thread has a post (by Dyson) with a large number of new Building options, including a Museum.
NOTE: The second link is to a thread that is currently in the Archives. In case these threads move in/out of the Archives (thus breaking these links), I should mention that I found them by doing a Search within the Kingmaker forums for related keywords - "Art Collection" should work for the first one, and "Museum" for the second.

I remember reading a post here, but cannot ind it currently about some extra buildings that attach to current buildings and provide bonuses. One of them was adding a art wing to the castle and it provides a circumstance bonus to Diplomacy whenever entertaining foreign dignitaries. Does anyone happen to know where this thread is?
As cintra provided there was that link, and the last post on that link has some good info about it in the Mass Combat thread.
Also for non-city options to do on a hex other than a farm, you can view THIS OLD THREAD.
Also for other building options in a city, THIS THREAD has some great ideas.
Finally, if you're looking for some settlement options other than just another city, THIS THREAD provides ideas on towns and villages and such.
I have implemented much of the content from these threads, and it has really added some great content to the game, and I've kept the links handy for reference - hence my ability to share them again.
