Gergor rushes at Nessian swinging his hammer in a great arc.

Quioxti faces the remaining warhounder and finishes him off.
Gregor charges against Nessian, but he begins to blur and the barbarian misses the attack.

Nessian feint and catch Gregor off guard, striking the dwarf with his flair.

Torillan moves to grant Gregor flanking position with Nessian.

Silana shot with his bow to Nessian, but the blur takes action again and makes her miss his shot.

Gregor screams a dwarven curse at the man (Roughly translated: "I shall use your blood to wash away the evil taint of your deeds"), before throwing himself at Nessian with a flurry of hammer swings.

[Quioxti d'Riece]

As the life flees from the last Warhounder, Quioxti whirls to face Nessian. A smile plays across his lips as he watches the hazy image of their foe land a telling blow across Gregor's backside, "Two can play at this game. Ruet kreits." Finally, with an ever widening grin, the swordsman stalks towards his quarry.

Casting true strike and then moving into melee combat.

Quioxti moves to melee position and cast a spell over himself.
Gregor Rage against Nessian and strikes him with all his might. Nessian varely stand still. But he manages to strikes back.
Attack agains the dwarf: 1d20 ⇒ 4
He can't even breath, so the dwarf dodges the attack without problem.
Torillan fails his swing and Silana can't shot again. She could shot at a friend.

-Wait! Wait! -Nessian couch, trying to regain his breath- Wait! Don't kill me, please! I'll do whatever you want!

Blood pounding in his ears Gregor is unable (or unwilling) to hear the man's pleas. Once again he roars and lunges at the bandit with his hammer.

Quioxti raises his sword to strike when Nessian begs for quarter. A decapitating blow stops short. "Drop your weapon and tell us where the book is before I decide to finish this swing." The Aldori dueling sword lurches closer to Nessian's neck.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

-I'll do! I'll tell you! It's in my deck! In the main tower! In the main...! -Nessian's confesion was silensed by the hammer of the barbarian. The bandit is dead.

Ok. What now? We are about to finish!

Gregor's victory cry is cut short by the disapproving scowl on Quioxti's face.
What!?!?! Did I miss something?

Quioxti looks down at the dwarf and sighed, "At least you waited until he told us where to find the book. I didn't want to spend the rest of the night poking around this tower." The swordsman starts to walk away and then stops. He looks back at Nessian, bends down and rifles through his clothing. Satisfied he's found everything the thug was carrying, he glances at his companions, "Shall we go get that book and finish this, then? I have a Chronicle to appear in."

Catching his breath the dwarf looks up at Quioxti quisicly, Did he now? Oh, well thats good I guess. So what do these blighter have on them?

Gregor will search the other bodies as well.

Searching the bodies you find:
-Potion of blur
-Scroll of arcane lock
-Scroll of cure moderate wounds
-Scroll of delay poison

You search the central tower. It seems all the forces has been defeated outside, because the building is empty. You find the code book when Nessian said.

One hour later, you meet Yargos in the Puddle District. Yargos made the signal to abort the attack, so the undeads return to their eternal "stand-by" mode.

"Well, my friends. You have saved Absalom, even when Absalom himself won't know anything about this danger. You can count with me if you have any requirements in the future. Our lives remains ours thanks to you."
