I don't know why the rest of you are so dense. Everything in the OP makes perfect sense to me. Maybe some of you should try cracking a bible, particularly the Book of Paizo, which depicts the journey of Mona of Erik as he travels through the Cosmos on his quest to slay the Monster-Post of Generalis.
Mark my words: you have been warned, and those who fail to heed the warning WILL BURN IN HELL!!!!!!
S#$!, hell doesn't scare me. I'm married with children.

Sheet-phantoms!
Now with 100% more hyphen.
I sort of understand the OP's post. That is, I understand the etymology of 'paizo', and I grokked his references to Wilderlands, Bob Bledsaw(RIP) and Judges Guild. I, too, am a JG fan.
I'm not sure why his religious sensibilities are offended by the use of Greek. Despite re-reading his post, I remain confused on this count.

Forms of "paizo" happen to be used negatively in the NT. I think it's strictly the case of a word that's rare in its vocab only happening to be used in negative instances, than that it took on any inherent negative meaning in a technical Christian vocabulary.
I get that he's referring to the Bible in Greek. I still don't see where the 'crass piggy backing' comes into play. Paizo is not a word like 'Parousia.' If the company were named 'Parousia Publishing', I could understand why the OP might be offended.''I play'' is offensive, though? I fear that something has been lost in translation. The OP seems upset, but I still don't understand why.

Previous threads making much less sense and tons of people flagging him for various things. To the point the mods shut him down for a few days. My guess anyway.

For some reason, Gary and Ross admonishing him on dodging the profanity filters really pissed him off. So, maybe(?), the argument was against what he saw as hypocrisy? I couldn't really say, since I forgot to take my Angel Dust this morning.

There comes a point of obscurity where I'm just not willing to chase somebody down their rabbit hole. Being clever is great, being James Joyce (at least, JJ of Finnegan's Wake) elicits other reactions...

Christianity generally considers all forms of magic, being a sort of power that is not granted by the Lord, to be evil and bad.
So Paizo, I DEMAND! that you remove the wizard class from the game!
;-P

If it weren't for Joyce, an ultra-capitalistic bar owner Ferengi on Deep Space Nine would have a different name.

Yep. Binky would have totally sucked.
At least that's the name he was given in the alternate universe where I assassinated James Joyce's grandfather.

It's okay if they're Magi. Oops, wrong kind of Magi.

Erik did what with Cosmo?

Nobody has answered whether the 2 points were enough to win the game.
It sounds to me like you're asking for mechanical justification. Are you a believer in mechanics-righteousness? Hearken ye not unto the word of Sebastian, the prophetic pony of prettiness? Only those role-playing penance shall pass.

I thought it was "only the panty-ant man shall pass" because "the panty-ant man is fumbling for sod"...or something.

Awesome. Now that you've dealt with Tom Qadim, please take my colorful pony to the mews and give him a good brushing down. If he gets cranky, put his nose in this bag of powder.
*without breaking eye contact with Mairkurion, grabs the pony's reigns and chomps down on its ear*
*chews*
Edit: the schnozberries taste like schnozberries!

It sounds like they took some sort of planar journey, upon which Sebastian served as their pack pony. Somewhere along the way, he attained this prophetic mission, which returned him to the boards to harbinge general damnation.
I went on a harbinge last night. I don't remember most of it. Just a lot of vomiting and bad dance music.

Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra.
Shaka, when the walls fell.
Temba, his arms wide.
Mirab, his sails unfurled.
Sokath - his eyes uncovered.
The river Temark - in winter.
Kiazi's children - their faces wet.
Zinda - his face black, his eyes red.
Uzani - his army at Lashmir.
Well done, sir :)

Maybe it's a Gibbering Typer. Instead of many mouths, it has many fingers arranged to fit a QWERTY keyboard.

Maybe we'll eventually see the complete works of Shakespeare.
