My one real grief with it was the change with Hastur. I will still portray him as the king in Yellow. Other than that I had no problems.

How have they changed him?

Looks like I will spend a good portion of the long weekend working :-( At least I will be able to do some of it from home.

I may be able to go to some of Sydcon.

Apparently he is a humanoid with no bone structure, so he's a fleshy blob with human attributes.

If that's the case, what's with the whole taking one of Adam's ribs to make Eva (depending on which creation-myth in the Bible you're reading)?

Hey guys. Sorry I've been so quiet. Things have come to a head with my supervisor at work. I hope I am going about this the right to way, but I am trying to defend the work I do while pushing back in areas I feel she's not right in. So far I've been proven correct in two areas, and been wrong in one. I am usually a new nose to the grindstone kind of guy, but the changes she is trying to implement with no real reason behind them are really burning through cartilage and bone. Here's hoping I come from out on top or somewhere close.

Takes me about 2 days anymore.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys.

Spoiler:
All in all, I'm..okay. Still breathing a little hard, but okay. I've yet to deal with a supervisor like this when I wasn't completely in the wrong. I try to be as patient and possible and, believe it or not, I do respect the chain of command and avoid going over other people's heads when I can. But the things she's asking for is turning my job into a weird mental health clubhouse-cum-sweatshop. While I understand my boss changes his mind at times(he can be downright flaky), her response to his occasional confusion is to answer yes to all of his questions and get him everything he could ever ask for so that if he changes his mind she's still in the right. Maybe it would work if I didn't have a caseload of almost 30 people, but I do and therefore it doesn't. We had a meeting where I asked for a few things to be clarified. She still got on me about the things I was wrong about, but I got on her on the things I had a sneaking suspicion I was right about. A compromise was reached in the end, and I finished up everything and then some before the end of the day. There's still more progress to be made, of course, but I feel validated that I was able to push back and get some breathing room.

I think that could be the answer to the question. :D

Broccoli casserole in the oven right now for d20 Star Wars game day tomorrow. Would be better made hot right before the game but...potato salad is starting next and then baked beans and then more stuff...No need to work myself to death trying to fix it all hot right before the game.

yes.

D6 Star Wars was the first Star Wars I played. One of our regular players has ran many sessions games but now a newer member of our gaming group wants to run d20 Star Wars. This has our normal D6 Star Wars GM tickled pink because he has only rarely gotten to play Star Wars.

Side Note:
The first time I played D6 Star Wars was back around the '92-'93 school year or maybe '91-'92. The game was fairly serious and long running despite our silly naming deices. My character was an alien student of the force (looking sort of like an illithid) named Boyardi. Other characters Ham Salad and Chewy Nougat.

I kind of want to take the trip just for the food.

Broccoli casserole done. The kind with the crushed and buttered ritz crackers browned on top.

Potatoes cooking for potato salad. Eggs already boiled and onions ready to go too.

Soon, it will be time to fry bacon to go in the baked beans. I might have to fry a few extra slices... :P

I am going to try something I haven't cooked tomorrow. Baking a ham with a brown sugar/pineapple juice glaze and pineapples stuck to it with toothpicks. Should take about three or a little more hours once in the oven but we are not playing til around four. so, that gives me plenty time tomorrow.

Note: It isn't so much that I just want to spoil my fellow gamers but that cooking for them gives me practice time to get my skills in line for Christmas dinners and New Years, etc.

Perhaps sometime I will have the opportunity to cook for the Fawtlites.

It has already been a year since Jude was born? I can't believe it has gone that fast.

Twas my first RPG. I love d6 Star Wars, and miss playing it regularly. My view on the Force comes from this game, and I think Lucas needs to pull the fluff out of his head and start reading this stuff and make Star Wars great again.
