Heresy. D:

We roast everything in Ireland. Roast veg, roast potatoes, roast meats. It's delicious, done right.

Stereotypically, all food in Scotland is deep-fried, and all food in England is boiled.

Neither of those things are true, he says, chowing down on his freshly boiled hamburger & 'fries'

mmmmmm... deep-fried Mars bars. :D
Deep Fried ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!

Blasphemy! Begone spawn of darkness!

Fats(aka oil) are 9 calories per gram. So if you deep fried everything, imagine how many extra calories you'd be adding to your meals...

If you deep fry it hot enough you get less fat on the food than if you had pan-fried it.

Even though deep frying requires you to dunk your food into a vat of oil or fat, when done right, the food expels steam rather than absorbs oil. According to the "New York Times," when meat hits 365-degree oil, the sizzling sound is from steam leaving the food. As long as steam is exiting, fat can’t get in. What's important to note is that what you use to coat your food could double, or even triple, the amount of fat and calories absorbed.

Just go get an oven, start toasting.

That's true. I didn't say it was entirely healthy, but it is in general better for you then pan-frying, if fat is what worries you. Just more expensive.

Stir frying generally you coat less so it's healthier. Besides what makes you think everyone knows how to get a good deep fry going? There are misses and ooops.

I'm carrying my badminton racket like one would carry a sword in a scabbard over shoulder. I'm wearing a dress, so I probably look ridiculous, but I don't care, since it's too bulky to fit in my bags and at least this way I don't have to worry about jabbing people with it by accident.

I don't think everyone knows how to deep fry?

It took me a few tries to get the technique down.
I also don't concern myself with fat to much, as heart diseases aren't a problem in my family. Sugar, and diabetes are my families health concerns, but I won't have to watch that in true earnest until my mid 30's...

Tequilia! You need help urgently!

Here, I've got a deck for you to make it to 20!

Deck:

It's a variant of the Baku Paladin - Standard
2x lost in the jungle
1x divine might
2x righteous protector
2x dire mole
2x sword of justice
2x ironbeak owl
2x stonehill defender
2x tar creeper
2x raid leader
2x level up
2x fungalmancer
2x cobalt scalebane
2x frostwolf warlord
2x level up
2x archeus veteran
1x baku the moon eater

How to play it: Spam your hero power like there's no tomorrow, then throw all those little things to buff your little silver hand recruits. Use Frostwovles for a quick 9/9 or something when you've got enough silver hand recruits onboard.

The sad fact of life is that as you get older, your metabolism decreases. So what you get away with when you're 18, and what you can get away with when you're 30 is vastly different. That's why people start putting on bellies once they reach 30, because their metabolism slows down, they're stuck at sedentary office jobs, but still eating the same amount as they used to do as active teenagers.

So Game Hamster, don't take your body type for granted. I didn't understand when I was younger either, but now I do. My younger self would run around eating KFC and Mc Donalds and getting fat...

My Younger self also would whine she hated running and wouldn't be caught running either.

My dad repairs machines, so he's pretty much up and about and being active the whole day, but from his old photos he was a skinny bugger, and now he's actually gotten rather stout. So even if you are active that CAN happen to you. He also outwalks the heck out of most people. Because they simply don't clock 10,000 steps everyday like he does.

He's the one who got me into this nature rambling thing anyway once you get right down to it.

BTW I take whole milk and eggs. Waste not want not. What I think we really need to cut down is carbs, because the last time I cut down on the carb intake, I managed to shed about 10 lbs. I've got a colleague who totally cut carbs out of his life, and he's looking really buff for someone who's 50...

And he's got kids, so it's not as if once you have a family you don't have time to do it.

Again he also takes the effort to keep himself fit, like he got our office into the fortnightly badminton sessions.

If you're not really working outside(like CY), I think 2,000 calories per day is too much. Again I'm a small little bit.

So I spent eight years working as the Exec Asst to a nun who happened to be the COO of a Catholic retirement home chain. A number of the residents were retired clergy. Some of them had certain vices that continued into their eighties. And when a nurse or an aide confiscated something from a resident's room, she turned it in to my boss. Since the drawer couldn't open all the way, she figured it was tolerably safe.

Which is why my orders were, should anything happen to her (car accident, heart attack, etc.), my first duty was to find a way to force the busted drawer open and flush the cocaine.

I quit working for her before it was ever necessary to do this, and then she retired, so I have no idea what happened to the coke.

This is going to get ranty.

Now for females, your weight tends to matter a lot – since a little bit of weight, your stomach sticks out…and it’s like URGH. Not to mention since when you put on weight it’s over everywhere…you simply can’t fit into your clothes. Especially in Asia, when clothes are made for those who are small and petite. Small I get, but petite…not very much. Sorry. My body was meant to track along all day, so I’ve got well developed muscular calves, not those slim straight legs. I know there are some things that are not going to happen, nor am I going to bother to try…but at least could we get our tummy a little less fat? :P

Whereas guys clothes are more forgiving, and society is as well.

If a female is fat – there’s a lot of negative connotations about her, like being a fat slob, whereas for guys, there is less – and sometimes if a guy is stout – it’s a compliment.

And Cover Turtle, don’t worry I won’t be getting anorexic or something like that, I like eating too much for that to happen.
