Baddest at being Nekkid?!? I can believe that.

The word itself is fun!

Very true.

And as I walk into work there's a rainbow :)
Then the sun comes out & the birds are singing - hopefully this is an omen for all the FaWtLies out there.

Rainbows mean good things for Fawtls.

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Thursday! It's a bit chilly this morning, with temp down to about 34. That's ok, though. It's gonna get up to the low 70s.

such extremes in temperature are going to get people sick.

SNL should do a skit with Christopher Walken asking for "More Kaiju". That would be awesome.

As long as we have giant robots to fight them, we're all good.

OH HELLS YEAH

Reminds me, at work the other day there was a perfect rainbow and we all stood staring at it for 5 minutes before we realised we needed to get on with work.

*actually boss did get some cash from a client, so distributed some to me.....yay, rainbows!

One word - tobogganing.
How would you describe tobogganing to someone who has never tobogganned?

Like going downhill fast and knowing that even if you crash, you'll probably land softly.

Hi and bye. Internet expended and died. What I have is undead internet that is very pricey to animate...

Mother toothache go for a worse and the father took her to look for a dentist that would accept her with month-long appointment. Meh.

Last week payslip came and Saturday overtime seemed to be worthy of extra time spent at work. I wonder how much I get for this week - six hours of regular overtime already done, two more will be added today *and* already signed for eight hours on Sunday - and those are x2 instead of x1.5.

Little time, strength or internet to write and create, though. Maybe tomorrow morning or Saturday...

Tomorrow is my last day of work...

My poor little buddy started with the coughing and runny nose yesterday. So that's everyone in the house except me having a cold. I had it first, however. They're just a bunch of copy cats.

I'm still very excited about new house. If everything works out correctly, I should have a very easy time moving - one weekend big weekend to get furniture, appliances, and the essentials. After that, about a month or more to just move everything else.

Hope the family feels better soon! And good luck with the move. :)

Hmm... Mayhaps, I should look into this tobogganing of which ye speak...

You're welcome to my snow. I just wish I could get a straight answer about how much we're supposed to get. One channel says "light wintry mix, maybe an inch of snow", another says "2-4 inches", a third says "4-6 inches", and the local paper says "6-9 inches". Frankly I'm sick of all of it.

So the traditional Scottish rain dance then?

Usually works perfectly.

See, it's this sort of comments that's the reason they're going to have that referendum.

Which doesn't make it untrue, of course. ;)

Well we could swap it for the tradition Yorkshire Morris dance instead. (we get drunk & the Scots can wave hankies around)

I too have been known to perform this dance, but I didn't realize it was a ceremony to summon rain. {makes note to not dance during hurricane season}

I dance pretty much like this. There's a whole country that dances like me? {beams with pride} Woo-hoo!

Boo for Drejk's lack of Internet and Icy's work ending! (At least I think that last one is a negative.)

If you'd been to Prince's Street in Glasgow on a Saturday night you'd not have wished for it.

What happened there?

Nothing really, but it's the only time I've been out on a city's main "party area" on a Saturday and felt such a big undertone of the possibility of violence the whole time.

A bit less cryptic - there were a lot of bad drunks/smackheads around.

I'm still laughing.

Today's class: Linux.

The instructor has already covered all of the major concerns I have about open-source OS's... and confirmed every single one of them is legitimate, brought up three I haven't even considered, and yet we're still forging on with it.

Despite that, Linux is still proving a better OS than Windows 7.

So, my Mini-me was sitting at the kitchen Counter the other day, playing with Legos I think. As I cruised on by I asked "What you doin?"

His immediate response?

"Just enjoying being Awesome!"

I stopped, and having absolutely no response to that, I saluted his awesomeness and continued on. He made my day.

Seriously, I think that is by far the best response I have ever heard a 10 year old make. To any question. Ever. :)

Did he just see the Lego movie by any chance?

Went out and had some boeuf bourguignon last night, which was very good & it was funny listening to my friend* uncomfortably speaking French to the waiter.
Then we finished off the scenario I was running, it was smoother then last week - however generally it finished up a tad average. I was hoping to revisit the PC's and the area again, but the game's knocked my GM'ing slightly. Anyway now to have a 3 month break.

*:
My friend is French anyway, but it was really amusing.

Happy Friday everyone.

Mornin' lads and ladies! Happy Friday! :D Thank the RNG, it's been a long week. Hope ye all have a great day and a wonderful weekend. ^_^

Had my weekly RPG last night, not the zombie campaign I plan on running, but a homebrew RPG my friend made based loosely on Supernatural and OWoD. Was good fun.

Seeing my son again tomorrow, really looking forward to seeing him. Gotta talk to his Mom about this once every two weeks thing. Doesn't really feel enough. I suppose beggars can't be choosers though.

Great news, LordSynos. Both about seeing your son, but also the game - hopefully everything works out to your satisfaction.

That does remind me, in my PF game it was fun since a player* is a cattle-buyer and some Shoanti tribesmen were being ripped off by the Aspis consortium over brokerage and storage fees for the auction.

*:
Note: I said player, not PC. (Something he only mentioned this session.)

The Jeff-Zilla Alarm is off, no cab work this morning, and I can go back to sleep. Have a good Friday every one.

Alive. *yawn*

I was woken up after some 5 hours of sleep by mother getting up and going to the dentist (hopefully she will get to the dentist today). Not counting phone screaming for food at night...
