Back from work.
Today supervisors gave Lithuanian beer to us after work as a sign of appreciation of our hard work.
It's nice to be appreciated. Even if I am not a fan of beer.
Anyone played Silverfall? Because I saw it in shop for £2... I wonder if it would run on Windows 8, though...
Wikipedia description looks interesting. I like both cRPGs and action RPGs, including Diablo and clones...
2007? It should run... Probably...
I also saw Divine Divinity for 1.5 or 2 pounds and Dragonshard for three, I think... Have I mentioned that I am a fan of Eberron?

Also, we have wrapped up our Game of Thrones binge. I don't think the entire Season 3 set was meant to be watched in under a week, but it happened.
I have spoken with the wife and with folks from the company i was considering and have decided to stay where i am. They offered more money but I enjoy the job i have and am comfortable and i do not have to travel.

Interesting observation made while driving in circles at 3 AM listening to Jets to Brazil: the local theatre marquee reads thusly:
IRISH HOOLEY
WELCOME REPUBLICANS
HAROLD & MAUDE
Just need to drink enough so that I'll pass out and wake up in July.
Feels weird, having no work anymore.

I wish I were doing something else instead of babysitting equipment.
Like sleeping. In my own bed.

;) Hahahahahaha!
I would love to see that! does this mean less delicious clones for me to devour? Cuz my cholesterol levels will thank you, but I'd still be quite sad....

I downloaded the demo but haven't gotten around to trying it out; however I stumbled onto the soundtrack on Youtube and it's pretty awesome. Was curious if anyone had experience with the game and could tell me if it's any good or not (with the caveat that it's a JRPG so if you don't like JRPGs you probably won't/don't enjoy it) before I consider splurging. will look into it.

Ooooo, have a swarm of them unpack from a seemingly-too-small-to-contain-them-all container/chest. AWESOME!

I was up at 4 a.m., Dave. We shoulda hung out. Oh, wait. That time zone thing.
Why was I up at 4 a.m.? Dunno. Seemed like a good time to experiment with media.

When the dog next door wants in, he trots to the back door, sits down, barks once, and waits for the door to open. If he has to wait for a minute or two, he barks again, once.
When my dog wants in, she plants her butt in the middle of the yard and barks loudly at the entire neighborhood or the sky or bugs or something - loudly and continuously until she's called in.
I used to think she was being dumb, but she gets brought in much faster than the oh-so-polite dog next door.
Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday!! I woke up to an extreme close-up of my baby girl! What an awesome way to start the day!!!

Plenty to do. Later folks.

Yeah, but if you were sleeping when the equipment gained sentience, you'd probably be sad you missed out.

I wanted pancakes yet not-pancakes. So I made batter and baked one giant pancake in a frying pan.
Both of those sound delicious.

That sounds pretty darned good too, but we're out of sausage.
(Yes, it's relevant, since I wouldn't have such a biscuit without a slab of juicy sausage)

Or a few strips of bacon, or a big slab of ham.

I cooked a pack of bacon. Mommy got 3 slices. The boy and I devoured the rest. He's getting faster at eating them. Which sucks, because it means less for me.

Sometimes I will have bacon with my biscuit.
Bacon - check!
Coffee (x2) - check!
Morning me time - check!
Hugs and kisses to/from children - check!
Still to be done: shower, Walmart, dry cleaners, grocery store, laundry.
